AICOK or AICOOK is dominating the world of kitchen appliances lately. AICOK is not a misspelling. In fact, it’s the official brand, and AICOOK is its subsidiary.

Affordability is AICOOK’s ultimate selling point. The Chinese company sells cheap slow and high-speed juicers. It’s going for Breville and Omega’s dominance in the juicing market.

The AICOK AMR516-1 400W Wide Mouth Centrifugal Juicer was its answer to Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus. It has similar capabilities but only cost half as much. How can you say no to such a deal?

It’s not as powerful as the Juice Fountain plus, but it’s still a functional juicer. The AICOOK AMR516-1 can help you make common juice recipes out of dense produce and citrus fruits.

Is it easy to use?

AICOOK AMR516-1 Centrifugal Juicer is a typical dual-speed juice extractor. It works the same way as any Breville Juicer. In short, it’s very straight forward. Assembly, operation, and maintenance is a piece of cake.

Unlike the AICOK GS-336 it comes with safety locking feature. This is a relatively harmless machine, but you just need to stick to its limits. It’s not designed to extract juice from leafy greens and soft fruits efficiently. Also, it has a 1 minute operation time (as I noted in the cons section).

If you only need a glass of juice, that will just take 5 seconds.

Is it easy to clean?

This high-speed juice extractor is dishwasher friendly. You don’t need to spend a lot of time cleaning it after you’re done with your juicing routine. If you want to make your life even easier, put a biodegradable plastic in the pulp bin. Now you just need to deal with the smaller parts.

Juice Quality

In terms of juice quality, AICOOK AMR516-1 will just have a score of 5/10. That is in comparison with slow juicers. Slow juicers don’t incorporate a lot of oxygen into the juice. This is why juice made out of this type of machine last longer, 3 days to be exact.

It is the exact opposite of fast juicers like the AICOK AMR516-1. The high RPM draws a lot of air into the juicing chamber which causes your juice to oxidize or spoil faster.

Here’s the trick, drink your juice right away or at least within 5 minutes. Most of the nutrients are still intact during that time. The longer you wait, the more nutrients you lose until it’s all gone in 24 hours.

What kinds of produce can AICOK AMR516-1 juice?

The AICOK AMR516-1 Juicer will work relatively well for hard and soft produce.

Fruits and vegetables like asparagus, bitter gourd, turmeric, carrots, celery, sweet potato, pineapple, cucumber, garlic, pear, ginger, yakon, pumpkin, cauliflower, apple, watermelon, broccoli, fennel, pepper, cilantro, and beets are compatible with this machine.

It can also juice your favorite citrus fruits such as lime, grapefruit, mandarin, orange, lemon, and tangerine.

This juice maker is not efficient in juicing leafy greens and soft fruits.
