AICOK JE6008 is currently unavailable. You might want to check the best slow juicer (guide) for more products like the JE6008.
AICOOK is a subsidiary of AICOK. I’ll use these brand names interchangeably in this review.
AICOK JE6008 Vertical Slow Juicer takes its design inspiration from the first generation of upright masticating juicing machines. The 80 RPM motor, its overall shape, the chute, the juicing chamber, the top part, and the juicing screw are just too familiar.
Needless to say, it also has something different, but the most notable one is the filter basket design. Most vertical slow juicers have a full circle mesh strainer. However, the AICOOK JE6008 opted for a half-cylindrical form.
I see it as a major flaw as this is part will handle a lot of stress from the auger. It is where the shredded produce will be pushed against to get the juices flowing. I won’t be surprised if this section breaks after a few uses.
I don’t want to waste your time anymore as I don’t really recommend this juice extractor, just pick a better cold press juicer on this list.
If you’re just looking to try juicing out or intended to use this machine for solely juicing celery, then you deserve to know its capabilities. It’s a good enough entry level juice maker anyway.
As long as you don’t overload this juicer, you can make basic juice recipes with it using the fine strainer. It can also puree soft fruits, and if you’re in the mood for a frozen treat, then you can put the frozen sorbet accessory to good use.
- Probably the cheapest vertical slow juicer in the market
- Good enough for dense produce, citruses and soft fruits
- Minimal oxidation makes a cold-pressed juice more nutritious
- 72 hours of juice shelf life
- Includes three sets of filters for leafy greens, soft fruits and making sorbets
- Nice and quiet
- Parts that come in contact with food are BPA free
- It comes with a reverse button
- Not dishwasher safe
- You need to cut up fruits and vegetables into small pieces to fit the narrow chute clearance. This will take a significant amount of time.
- It only comes with a 2-year warranty, but that’s pretty reasonable for its price
- This machine is not ideal for green juices, it’s also not advisable for making nut-based milk alternatives
- AICOK is a relatively new player in the kitchen equipment industry, but a promising one
Features & Product Details
Is it Easy to Use?
Getting the AICOK JE6008 juicer to work is relatively easy. You just need to put together four parts—juicing chamber, auger, strainer, and juicing top. Plus the detached components—juice jug, pulp collector, and pusher.
Assembly will take less than a minute. You just need to make sure that the parts are lined up correctly. This won’t be difficult as there are markers in place.
Once all the parts are set up, lock the safety flip that is located at the back of the juicer. The machine won’t turn on without doing this step, but that’s your assurance that the juicer won’t break or injure the user needlessly.
When we talk about a juicer’s usability, the size of the chute is always a massive factor. This juice maker has a small crescent-shaped opening just like any popular upright cold press juicer. If you’re juicing large quantities, you’ll have to spend much of your time cutting up your fruits and veggies.
Is it Easy to Clean?
There’s no mention if this product is dishwasher safe or not. Let’s say it is not compatible with your dishwashing machine, then it’s going to add a little burden to your juicing habit.
On the good side, the parts of the AICOOK JE6008 are not that big. Washing it by hand will just take a few minutes.
In my previous reviews about vertical masticating juicers, I noted the inefficiency of an 80 RPM motor in extracting juice from fruits and vegetables. If you don’t mind this quirk, you need to stock on cheesecloth to squeeze every drop of juice left on the wet pulp this machine produces.
If that sounds like a deal breaker to you, just check out the AICOOK SD60K, its more capable successor.
Disregarding that inefficiency for a moment, the AICOK JE6008 still belong to the slow juicer class. This type of juice extractor retains more nutrients in a longer time.
What Kinds of Produce Can it Juice?
All vertical masticating juicers which run at 80 RPM have a terrible reputation at extracting juice from leafy greens. Sadly the AICOOK JE6008 belong to this category making it not suitable for preparing green juices.
You can, however, make basic juice recipes out of this machine.
Using the fine filter, it can process dense fruits and vegetables like ginger, watermelon, asparagus, cucumber, turmeric, sweet potato, pear, cauliflower, bitter gourd, beets, pumpkin, cilantro, pineapple, broccoli, garlic, fennel, pepper, yakon, celery, carrots, and apples.
Using the same accessory, it can also take on citruses like oranges, grapefruit, lemons, mandarins, limes, tangerine, etc.
There’s also a coarse strainer included in your purchase. It will come in handy at times when you need to puree soft fruits such as berries, bananas, avocadoes, mangoes, etc.
As a bonus, there’s a third strainer intended for making sorbets.
Not listed in its features is the ability to make milk out of nuts and beans. But, if you really need that non-juicing function just opt for the AICOK SD60K. Its more advanced sibling.

If you’re a fan of green juice, then the AICOOK JE6008 Upright Masticating Juice Extractor is far from ideal. It’s not efficient at extracting juice from fruits and vegetables, particularly leafy greens.
There is only one reason I would recommend this juice press to you—if you’re just starting out looking for a cheap first juicer.
If you decided to buy this machine just make sure you have plenty of cheesecloth on your side, in case you want to save those juices from the wet pulp.
