This Aobosi Cold Press Juicer is currently unavailable at Amazon, but its identical twin is still on stock, the Shine Juicer.
I present to you the most compact and one of the cheapest juice extractors in the market, Aobosi Cold Press Juicer. Did you see how compact and portable it is?
You won’t believe how cheap it is. At the time I’m writing this review, it’s just worth a hundred bucks. It’s a slow juicer at the price of an entry level BJE200XL Juice Fountain.
Hurom leads the pack when it comes to vertical slow juicers. They pioneered the technology, and their products are basically next to none.
Comparing Aobosi to Hurom is like comparing apples and oranges. Hurom is a far more superior brand with a rock-solid reputation, and first-class product design language.
However, if we’ll just focus on juice extraction capability, the Aobosi Vertical Slow Juicer has a winning chance. It can handle most type of produce, be it denser fruits and veggies, green leafy vegetables and citruses.
It’s a capable small juicer that’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg.

Aobosi Cold Press Features
Is it easy to use?
In terms of assembly and operation, this machine is pretty straightforward. But, what I don’t like about the Aobosi Vertical Slow Juicer is its super narrow chute. It has the smallest channel among all the cold press juicers I have reviewed in the same class.
This means that you’ll have to cut your fruits and vegetables into small pieces. How small? Precisely 1-inch wide, nothing more, nothing less. With that said, you’ll probably need more prep time and patience if you end up with this product.
Is it easy to clean?
Fortunately, you don’t need to spend a lot of your precious time cleaning the Aobosi Vertical Slow Juice Extractor. Its detachable components are dishwasher safe. All you have to do is rinse the parts off, brush the filter basket for a little bit, and put all those components on the top rack of your dishwasher. Easy peasy.

Don’t take my word for it, watch this official product demo of Aobosi:
Juice Quality
This cheap juice maker doesn’t disappoint when it comes to nutrient retention and juice yield. Compared to old vertical slow juicers, it has a further reduced RPM for better juice extraction efficiency and minimal oxidation.
Cold-pressed juice typically lasts for up to three days when stored properly. To give you a point of comparison, juice extracted by centrifugal juicers has a shelf life of just 24 hours.
What kinds of produce can Aobosi Cold Press juice?
This juice press can process nearly all types of fruits and vegetables such as dense and fibrous ones, citruses and leafy greens.
As long as your portions are small enough for its 1.7 x 1.2 inches crescent chute it will work really well on beets, carrots, pineapple, watermelon, cilantro, sweet potato, asparagus, cucumber, ginger, yakon, pumpkin, fennel, broccoli, bitter gourd, celery, garlic, pepper, pear, turmeric, apple, and cauliflower.
It can also take on citruses like tangerine, oranges, limes, lemons, grapefruit, etc. pretty well. Don’t skip on removing the peel, seeds, and rinds for a better tasting juice.
Second generation vertical slow juicers like this Aobosi product has a further reduced motor which is more efficient at extracting juice from greens. For even better result, roll your leafy vegetables like a cigarette and drop it in between fruits and veggies with high water content.
I’m sad to say that this machine doesn’t offer other non-juicing functions like those more expensive models. It can’t puree soft fruits nor make nut-based milk alternatives.
