The Bella Rocket Blender reminds me of the Magic Bullet. The Magic Bullet is cheap, but the Bella Smoothie Maker is even less expensive. At the time I’m writing this review, it’s just hovering around thirty bucks.
That price may have changed at the time you’re reading this.
Awards: #7 Best Portable Blender
Anyhow, it’s one heck of a great deal considering the accessories included. The Bella Blender ships with three personal cups, two sets of blades, a pair of regular lids, two shaker lids, and lip rings for the cups.
Another advantage it has over the Magic Bullet is that all the removable parts are dishwasher safe. Magic Bullet’s blade assembly is not dishwasher safe.
Now let’s get to the million-dollar question… Is the Bella Blender worth it?
Let’s find out, starting with its pros and cons.
- Budget-friendly blender
- Compact and portable
- Easy to use with one twist blending
- Includes three personal cups
- Comes with grinding and blending stainless steel blades
- Dishwasher safe
- 2-year warranty
- You need to add more liquid for better results

- Lip rings are inconvenient
- There’s no to-go lid with a drink spout
- Not that efficient at crushing ice
Bella Blender Features
What can you make with Bella Rocket Blender?
Aside from being an all-around smoothie maker, the Bella Rocket Blender is also a good food prep assistant. It comes with a grinder blade assembly that can help you crush coffee beans or spices.
Here’s a more visual representation of its capabilities.
Let’s discuss the 240-watt motor of this single-serve blender from Sensio. It’s a fact that small blenders struggle with crushing ice, especially those with a weaker torque. Magic Bullet also shares the same flaw.
As a workaround, your recipe requires more liquid portion. The manufacturer suggests adding at least one cup of liquid when blending ice or frozen fruit.
Here’s a full list of what the Bella Sport Rocket Blender is not built for.
Thick Blends—As I’ve just mentioned, this mini blender has a weak motor. If you’re planning to make smoothie bowls or frozen sorbets, it’s not doable with this machine. This also includes thick nut butters.
Hot Soups—I haven’t seen any personal blender that can take on hot items, except for the Nutribullet Rx. The thing is, most small blenders don’t have a vent. It can trap the pressure, which can lead to a big bang. Yes, blenders do explode when used improperly.
Running the Blender for More than a Minute—The manufacturer suggests not running the blender/grinder for more than a minute. Mini blenders also have a tendency to overheat, especially cheaper ones.
Is Bella 12-Piece Set Rocket Blender easy to use?
In terms of usability, the Bella 12-Piece Set Rocket Blender fared quite well. You just have to secure the blade assembly with any of the three single-serve cups. From there, you just have to place it onto the blender base and do the twist.
The reason to get a personal blender is for easy cleanup. It doesn’t have much surface area in comparison to full-sized countertop blending machines. The Bella Bullet Blender is a more practical choice when you’re only looking for a personal smoothie maker or protein shaker.
To make the deal even better, all the parts of the Bella 13330 Rocket Blender are dishwasher safe.
Still, you have to be careful with the blades. There are times when you need to brush off some food particles and residues. As a rule of the thumb, wash your blender right after using it.
