Black & Decker JE2060BL has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Check out these good quality juicers as an alternative for this entry level juice extractor.
Black+Decker produces the cheapest juicers on the planet, but the question is… Is it even worth your money?
Black and Decker JE2060BL Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor is dual speed centrifugal juicer.
I have no idea about the RPM because the manufacturer doesn’t mention about it but it has a powerful 400-watt motor that can extract juice from your produce in mere seconds.
It has an external pulp ejection which makes continuous juicing possible. Same with Black & Decker’s one-speed model, this machine also has a 300 ml juice jug and 28 oz pulp collector.
Pros
- It’s a very affordable dual-speed fast juice extractor
- Dishwasher safe parts
- External pulp ejection for uninterrupted juicing
Cons
- The feeding chute is too narrow requiring you to chop your produce into tiny bits. It’s like a masticating juicer’s chute fitted in a centrifugal juice extractor.
- Juice extracted from high-speed juicers can only last for 24 hours due to high levels of oxidation
- Parts are not BPA free
- Noisy
- It can only process hard produce, soft and citrus fruits
Black & Decker JE2060BL Features & Product Details
Is it easy to use?
Assembling and disassembling this juicing machine is pretty straightforward, but that’s the easy part. Since the chute is too small compared to popular centrifugal juicers, you can’t put a whole apple in it.
In short, you have to chop your produce just like how you do it for masticating juicers. This completely defeats the purpose of being a fast juicer.
Is Black & Decker JE2060BL easy to clean?
The good news is all detachable parts of this juice extractor are dishwasher safe. It’s relatively easy to clean up.
Most electric juicers can be washed by hand, if you prefer this method, just soak the parts of the juice maker in warm water with soap mixture for a few minutes then rinse it off.
The cutter/strainer will be the hardest part to wash, but the trick is to clean your juicer as soon as possible to avoid any buildup of pulp and juice.
Juice Quality
Fast juicers are quite inferior when it comes to yield and efficiency and this juicer is not an exception. It produces a wet pulp that you’ll have to put back in the juicing chamber to avoid wasting nutrients.
High RPM motor intensifies the oxidation process making your juice frothy. This is the reason why juice extracted from this type of machine only last for 24 hours.
What kinds of produce can JE2060BL juice?
Since this is a two-speed juicing machine, it can process hard produce, soft fruits, and citrus fruits.
Hard Produce such as carrots, pumpkin, pepper, pear, cauliflower, broccoli, turmeric, beets, watermelon, pineapple, bitter gourd, cucumber, garlic, fennel, sweet potato, cilantro, yakon, asparagus, celery, apple, and ginger.
Soft fruits include papaya, mango, pomegranate, avocado, grapes, blackberry, cranberries, peach, melon, strawberry, and kiwifruit.
Citrus fruits include tangerine, lime, orange, mandarin, grapefruit and lemon.
It’s not recommended for juicing leafy greens such as kale, spinach, wheatgrass, etc., let alone making soy and almond milk.

For those who are just getting started with juicing who don’t wish to spend a lot on their first juicer, Black & Decker JE2060BL Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor is a decent choice.
However, if you’re planning to juice on a daily basis, this is not the right machine for the job.
Save up some more, and once you have enough money, pick a heavy duty centrifugal juicer on this list.
