This Braun Immersion Blender is the same as the Braun MultiQuick 9 in terms of functionality. Though it’s shorter and has a slightly less powerful motor, the underlying features are identical.

It shares the same SmartSpeed Technology, Active Blade System, anti-vacuum splash-free bell design, and ergonomic handle. In short, it’s as efficient and as easy to use as its bigger sibling.

What’s unique to the Braun Multiquick 7 Hand Blender is the blade profile. It has a smaller blade within its wings which increases the blending efficiency even further.

One thing that it doesn’t have, though, is a safety switch. It’s going to run when you press the speed trigger. To prevent accidental startup, don’t position your index finger on the speed trigger unless you’re ready to blend.

Overall, the MultiQuick 7 is a fantastic hand blender that comes in three options—MQ7025, MQ7035, and MQ7077. The only difference between these models is the included attachments. I’ll explain it further in the “accessories” section.

For now, let’s dive into its advantages and disadvantages.

PROS

  • Comfortable and contemporary design
  • Robust 500-watt motor
  • One hand operation
  • Flexible shaft results in finer blends
  • Extra blade to quickly pulverize large ingredients
  • Removable shaft for easy cleaning
  • Comes with chopper and whisk attachment
  • MQ7077 includes a masher accessory
  • No splash technology for fast cleanup
  • Dishwasher safe
  • BPA-free
  • 3-year warranty

CONS

  • Excellent blender for a premium price sticker
  • The lids (with gears) and gearboxes are not dishwasher safe

Braun Multiquick 7 Features

How does Braun Immersion Blender perform?

The Braun Immersion Blender MultiQuick 7 is equally capable as the Braun Hand Blender MultiQuick 9. It shares the same features except for the child lock feature, blade design, and blending torque.

Equipped with a 500-watt motor, it can help you puree, chop, mince, and blend any ingredients quickly and easily.

Let’s take a look at the MultiQuick 7’s underlying technology.

SmartSpeed Technology—You can adjust the speed of this stick blender through a convenient speed trigger. This feature is highly essential IMHO as it allows you to operate it with a single hand. You won’t see this feature with cheaper models.

ActiveBlade Technology—This part is unique to Braun Immersion Blenders. It’s the only brand with a moving blade system. Think of it like a bike’s suspension. You can push it down to cover more cutting areas.

According to Braun, this one-of-a-kind feature increases the blending efficiency by 250% and 40% easier to operate.

Patented PowerBell Plus Technology—Aside from the less suction from the bell profile design, it also comes with a unique blade system. Compared to the Braun MultiQuick 5 and Braun MultiQuick 9, it has an additional smaller milling blade. And according to the brand, this small adjustment resulted in 55% blending efficiency.

To sum it all up, all these features results in a finer and smoother blend.

Is Braun Multiquick 7 easy to use?

What I love about the Braun Immersion Hand Blenders is their ergonomic design. I’ll choose a speed trigger style button over multiple buttons on any given day. You can operate it singlehandedly.

Braun Multiquick 7 Controls

Assembly is also a breeze, no matter what attachment you’d like to use. There’s no twisting required. Just slide the blending wand into the motor base and you should hear a click. Once you’re done, all you have to do is press the quick-release button to remove it or switch to a different accessory.

Now, let’s talk about the bell design. I’ve already mentioned above that it has an ingenious bell profile that lessens suction force. This issue hasn’t been addressed with cheaper models such as the Mueller immersion blender.

In addition to less suction, it also results in less splashes, even at a maximum revolutions per minute (RPM).

Lastly, when it comes to maintenance, you won’t have any issues with this kitchen equipment. All the removable parts that come in contact with food are dishwasher safe. Parts that contain gears and the motor base itself are not dishwasher safe, but all you have to do is wipe them down with a damp cloth.

See the Braun MultiQuick 7 in action:

On top of that, Braun offers a generous 3-year warranty for the MultiQuick 7.

The good thing about it is, if you purchase the cheaper model, you’ll be able to upgrade later. Say if you bought the Braun MQ7025 or Braun MQ7035 variant, and you decided that you want to try the puree/masher accessory, you can use the link down below.

Apart from the full-sized 6 cups (1.4 L) food processor accessory with slicing, shredding, and french fry disk, the MQ7077 also has the puree accessory in its arsenal. It’s a great motorized alternative to your good old potato masher.

Do not mash tough or uncooked food with this equipment.
