Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer, Black
Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer, Black

The Cosori Dual Blaze has the most significant capacity among all basket-drawer air fryers from Cosori.

It’s also a new product, which means it has the best features an air frying machine can have (at the time of writing). For instance, you can control it from your phone or through Google Assistant or Alexa. Pretty cool, don’t you think?

Not to mention, it looks absolutely different from the previous models.

Naturally, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

So, suppose you want a fully-featured and smart airfryer. In that case, you should definitely consider the Cosori 6.8 qt Dual Blaze Air Fryer.

With that said, let’s move on to its pros and cons.

PROS

  • 12 core cooking functions
  • Smart control (wi-fi ready)
  • You can also control it with Alexa or Google Assistant
  • Touchscreen control panel
  • 360 ThermoIQ (dual heating element)
  • Even cooking thanks to 360 ThermoIQ Technology
  • Substantial capacity for up to 6 -7 servings at a time
  • Rectangular basket fits more food
  • BPA and PFOA Free
  • Dishwasher safe parts
  • 2-year warranty

CONS

  • A bit pricey
  • Quite bulky and needs a significant space in the kitchen
  • The design is lacking suave
  • No preheat (it’s double-edged)

What can you cook in the Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer?

Considering it’s a modern air fryer, it’s equipped with numerous cooking functions, 12 in fact. Here they are:

chicken
Air Fry
broiled chicken
Chicken
shrimp
Seafood
roasted vegetables
Veggies
broiled beef
Broil
roasted chicken
Roast
Steak
Steak
Frozen Patties
Frozen
pizza
Reheat
brownies
Bake
fries
Fries

Note: I didn’t include “keep warm” because it’s more of a dependent function. Regardless, it’s a valuable program for keeping your food warm when you’re not ready to eat.

You can never run out of ideas on what to cook in the Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer with these cooking functions. In fact, you can find around 100 recipes from the Vesync App alone. And if you go to Cosori’s website, you can try an abundant amount of recipes.

Here are a few of my favorites that you should definitely try:

  • Dry rubbed chicken wings
  • Stuffed pork loin
  • Honey and soy-marinated salmon

Here’s the catch:

It doesn’t have an explicit “preheat” mode—which is a double-edged feature if you ask me.

You see, some recipes require preheating wherever you’re cooking them. In that case, simply run the Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer for a longer duration to ensure you have appropriately cooked food.

Luckily, for other recipes? Cooking will undoubtedly be faster. This is also thanks to the 360 ThermoIQ, Dual Blaze feature, but more on that later.

On a slightly different note:

It has a substantial capacity of 6.8-quart, which serves up to 7 portions. IMHO, getting a hefty air fryer is so much better than small ones (if you have the space).

You must cook in batches with smaller air fryers to make 7 portions. Whereas you have the option to cook either small or large quantities in one go in more sizable air fryers such as the Cosori Dual Blaze.

Is it easy to use?

The Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer has excellent ease of use, no doubt about that.

For starters, it’s a basket air fryer; therefore, it has the best usability versus other types of air fryers.

And that’s not even the best part:

It also has top-notch ease of use in the same category (basket-drawer air fryers). In short, it’s the best of the best.

Essentially, it hallmarks a 360 ThermoIQ Technology—a dual heating element with automatic temperature control. As a result, your food will cook more evenly, and you can skip the extra step of shaking or flipping halfway!

Here’s more:

Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer controls

Other than the overall aesthetics, the touchscreen control panel has been drastically redesigned. For instance, Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer looks smaller but fortunately not overpopulated. In addition, unlike its predecessors such as Cosori Air Fryer Max XL with icons for buttons, it hallmarks text buttons.

To be honest, I think you’ll favor texts better, too, since you’ll immediately understand what the button does. No need to refer to the manual every single time.

See it in Action

Don’t take my word for it, here’s a video demonstration from CookingWithDoug.

The Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer is one of the best. It features a 6.8-quart capacity that cooks up to 7 portions in one go. Additionally, thanks to its 12 cooking functions, the number of recipes to try is endless. Furthermore, it can be controlled through smartphones, Google, or Alexa.

Is the Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer easy to clean?

Luckily, yes!

This airfryer features dishwasher-safe parts, which means you can simply load the accessories in the dishwasher and be done with it.

And if you manually wash the Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer, it’s still straightforward. For instance, the materials are non-stick, so any food remains will slide right off. You don’t need rigorous scrubbing (And you shouldn’t!)

Pro tip: Only use soft sponges and mild soap when cleaning nonstick surfaces. Also, solely use silicone or plastic tongs when cooking.

As for the central unit, a simple wiping with a damp cloth will do the trick. And without protruding elements, you don’t have to worry about any persistent food bits in between.

All in all, this machine only demands simple maintenance. You won’t even think of it as a chore.

What makes Cosori Dual Blaze better than other air fryers?

I already mentioned the Patented 360 ThermoIQ, which simplifies the workload and creates better results.

But, here’s something more exciting:

It’s a smart air fryer! Essentially, you can connect the Cosori Dual Blaze to your wifi. As a result, you can control it through your smartphone, Google Assistant, and of course, Alexa.

You might be wondering, “Why would I need to control it from my phone when I’m literally in front of the air fryer?”

While changing the settings is faster when you’re in front of it, smart connectivity has many advantages. Here are a few:

  • Google or Alexa can help you multitask. For instance, instead of changing the settings by hand, you can go straight to washing other dishes and simply ask Google or Alexa to start the cooking process.
  • There may be times when you want to delay the cooking, so it’ll be perfectly cooked when it’s time to eat. In that case, you can prepare the food ahead of time, then start the cooking process later anywhere in the house. (Just ensure that your food stays at a safe temperature for the whole standby duration).
  • When monitoring your food, you can check it through your phone wherever you are. Therefore, you don’t need to stop what you’re doing just to go to the kitchen.
  • When your food is done, your phone can notify you.
