The Cuisinart Smart Stick Immersion Blender is one of the most affordable cordless handheld blenders in the market. It already includes a whisk attachment and a 4 cups (1 L) beaker.

It also has a sibling, which comes with even more accessories. Along with the whisk and measuring cup, you’ll also get a food chopper kit and an electric knife attachment. IMHO, it’s more of a great deal than this one. Well, that is if you’ll be needing those extra gadgets.

If we take the accessories out of the picture, I can say that the ultimate selling point of this stick blender is the variable speed levels and its modern aesthetics. Getting five speed levels will give you more control over the consistency and quality of your blend.

And to add icing on the cake, you’ll get a 3-year warranty with the Cuisinart hand blender.

Moving forward, let’s explore its pros and cons.

PROS

  • Affordable multifunctional cordless immersion blender
  • Ergonomic design
  • 5-speed settings with indicator
  • Comes with whisk attachment and a beaker
  • Lock/Unlock feature

  • Battery indicator lights
  • 3-year warranty

CONS

  • Approximately 2 hours of charging time
  • Steel splash guard may damage your bowls or pans

  • Not mentioned if the product is BPA free or not, however all the parts that comes in contact with food are stainless steel

Cuisinart Immersion Blender Features

How does Cuisinart Smart Stick perform?

The Cuisinart Immersion Blender has five speed levels. That’s what you need if you want to achieve the perfect texture for your puree. You don’t have that advantage with cheaper products.

It’s also worth noting that this stick blender is cordless with an 8.75 inches long (22 cm) wand. This feature will help you navigate hard to reach spaces with ease.

However, since the bell guard isn’t rubberized, there’s a huge chance that it’s going to scrape your cookware. So, don’t use it with a Teflon coated cookware.

Is Cuisinart Cordless Hand Blender easy to use?

Cordless hand blenders like the Cuisinart Smart Stick are generally easier to use than corded ones. The question now is whether you can operate this product with just one hand.

Cuisinart Smart Stick Blender controls

If you’ll watch the product demo below, you’ll notice that the presenter uses both of her hands. This tells us that single-handed operation is not possible, unlike the KitchenAid Cordless Hand Blender.

The thing is, before you can start it up, you have to press the unlock button while holding down the trigger. Adjusting the speed also requires your other hand’s intervention as it’s a lever that goes sideways.

If you think that’s a bummer, go ahead and check a different stick blender with a top-notch usability rating like this one.

I hate to add to your disappointment, but I also have to mention that the parts of the Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender are not dishwasher safe.

Is Cuisinart Smart Stick worth it?

The Cuisinart Smart Stick Immersion Blender is an okay product. It got most of the bases covered, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement. More has to be done on the usability aspect and as well as its bell guard design.

A more user-friendly alternative would be any of these KitchenAid Immersion Blenders.
