The Blendtec Professional 800 is part of the brand’s pro series product line that bring commercial-grade blenders to your home. Apart from being the most powerful, it’s also the quietest household blending machine that you can get your hands on.
There’s also the Vitamix The Quiet One, but it’s only advisable for commercial application. The warranty it comes with is significantly shorter.

- → Quietest Blender
Your best bet for a silent blender is really the Blendtec Pro 800.
In case you’re wondering, the noise it produces is at 65 decibels. It’s at the same level as a normal conversation. Other competing high-powered blending machines have a noise rating of 85 to 95 decibels. That’s your lawnmower or a motorcycle’s engine.
There’s a lot more to discuss about this best quiet blender, but for the time being let’s go over its advantages and disadvantages.
PROS
- Futuristic design with a touch screen interface and a display
- 11-speed slider control and pulse to achieve your desired texture
- 6 available presets
- 90 oz (2.6 L) blending capacity
- Cook or heat soups
- Safe and durable blunt blades
- Tamperless design
- Easy to clean and dishwasher safe
- BPA-free
- 10-year warranty
CONS
- High-quality blender with a premium price tag
- Having the sound enclosure is a little bulky
- No-tamper design (Indeed, this is a double-edged sword)
Blendtec Pro 800 Features
What can you make with Blendtec Professional 800?
With a powerful motor and well-designed blade, this blending monster… I mean machine, can process just about anything.
Starting with the most straightforward smoothie to a thicker (with regular blenders) nut butter.
*This will work best with the Twister Jar.
Now:
Some recipes will require unique jars, such as nut butter and frozen desserts. You can do them with regular containers, but it’s going to be “effortful.”
Which leads me to my next point: Is it easy to use?
Is Blendtec 800 easy to use?
There’s a bit of a learning curve, but it is easy to use in general. Although, Blendtec’s design flaw resulted in a decrease of a significant score for its usability.
With the help of presets, everything can be a breeze. You don’t even have to think: “How long should I blend this?”
It has preprogrammed settings, just press it and walk away. When you get back, voila! Your food is ready for you to enjoy.
Easy to clean? Totally!
The jar being dishwasher safe isn’t really the most vital thing. It’s the touch screen interface. Since it’s just flat, there are no bumps, dials, nor switches; you can just wipe it in one go. No more food debris problem stuck in the buttons, am I right?
Of course, there’s an additional thing to clean: The sound enclosure. On the bright side, if you don’t make any mess, you don’t even have to clean it.
Going back to my “effortful” point:
When you’re blending thick ingredients, the Blendtec Pro 800 will demand more of your effort and time. Their no-tamper-needed jars actually backfired on this one. There is a twister jar you can get, yet that isn’t super-efficient.
Don’t get me wrong, their design works on other recipes but not all.
So, instead of just a minute for nut butter, it might take 5 minutes. You will have to keep on shaking or mixing it with a spatula. Or, if you’re using the twister jar, you have to keep on twisting it.
Technology
There are two major highlights in terms of the technological feature:
Let’s start with the touch screen, including an LED display.
Having a touch interface is merely keeping up with the trendiest technology (during that time). However, with the addition of a capacitive slider for speed control? It’s a totally different story. Having a slider feels like you have more control over your blending speed.
On the one hand, slider vs. dial is more of a preferential decision. You’re the one who gets to decide which one is better.
Now:
The display is super helpful. One thing, in particular, is the error messages. If something is wrong, your blender will tell you. You don’t need to ask, “what in the world is wrong with you?”
Pretty neat, don’t you think? Communication is key to a successful relationship (in this case, with your blender).
Here’s the best thing:
Stealth technology is the best feature of Blendtec Professional 800. In fact, this is the best peculiarity for any high-performance blender.
Picture these two scenarios:
- 25 feet away from you, there’s a motorcycle that’s just going at it. Even though it’s far, it’s still ear-piercing
- You’re in a restaurant, all the people are talking. But, you can still speak to the person next to you without having to yell.
It’s pretty apparent which one is more agreeable. With the sound enclosure of Pro 800, your blender can get as light as situation 2. Most high-performance blender is almost as loud as scenario one.
That’s why this is the most notable winning factor for the Blendtec Pro 800.

Don’t take my word for it, watch this product demo of Quench Essentials.
The Blendtec Professional 800 is the best quiet household blender of all time. Its noise rating is approximately 67 decibels, which makes normal conversation possible. On top of that, it’s also the most robust, with a 3.8 peak horsepower motor. Furthermore, it features numerous modern technologies such as a touchscreen interface, 6 automatic presets, and an 11-speed slider.
Blendtec Pro 800 Accessories
If you want to maximize Blendtec Professional 800’s full abilities, you might want to pair it with any of these containers.
By the way, all of these jars are BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
Blendtec GO
Model # 40-610-50
Are you a smoothie person? If so, the Blendtec GO is a must-have container for your kitchen ecosystem. Unfortunately, it comes with irrelevant disposable cups. With a reusable travel cup, what do you need the disposable for? It’s not so earth-friendly. Although the disposable cups aren’t really required to use.

Is Blendtec Professional 800 Blender worth it?
The Blendtec Professional 800 is the quietest blender you can get on the market. Of course, that’s just one out of several excellent attributes of this powerful blender.
However, it has a premium price point, so it’s not advisable for beginners. For a more affordable high-performance blender, you should check out Vitamix E310.
