Perhaps I’m running out of juicing machine to check out, but I’m still writing this Hamilton Beach Slow Juicer Review.
Here’s a quick verdict.
Don’t waste your money on this slow juice extractor. It got tons of negative reviews when I first wrote this piece. I’ve read several complaints about it being easily breakable.
I wouldn’t go in-depth on this machine, I don’t want to waste your time nor mine. So go ahead and pick a different masticating juicer in this list.
Pros
- Affordable
- The juice collector has a foam separator
- BPA free in food zones (acceptable for the price)
- Slow RPM electric juicers minimize oxidation
- It can juice all types of produce from soft to hard produce, citrus fruits, nuts, and beans
- Dishwasher safe parts
- Continuous juicing through external pulp ejection
Cons
- Poorly designed, it looks terrible
- BPA free in food zones only, therefore it’s not totally BPA free
- Narrow feeding chute requires extra preparation time
- A lot of customers are furious about this machine for being so fragile, it breaks easily after a few runs
Hamilton Beach Slow Juicer Features & Product Details
Is it easy to use?
This juice extractor assembles very quickly with a few twists, seriously. The machine has very small parts and it really won’t take much time assembling and disassembling it. In fact, you only have to take care of 5 parts.
Yes, it is pretty easy to use but the question is, does it easily break?
Is it easy to clean?
Most of Hamilton Beach’s products are dishwasher safe including this juice press. You just need to give it a quick rinse and let your dishwasher handle the rest.
Juice Quality
If this juicer doesn’t break, it’s going to produce a full-bodied juice with all the nutrients intact (with minimal degradation), since it uses a masticating technology.
What kinds of produce can Hamilton Beach 67951 juice?
This juice press is only good for hard produce and leafy greens. Unlike other horizontal masticating juicers which offer a complimentary blank cone, this product doesn’t have that. Don’t try to juice soft fruits or make soy/almond milk with this machine.

Leafy greens include wheatgrass, spinach, peppermint, beet greens, parsley, kale, spring onion, cabbage, basil, pine tree needles, dandelion greens, collard greens, lettuce, brussels sprout and moringa.
Unlike other single gear masticating juicers which offer a complimentary blank cone, this product doesn’t have that. Don’t try to juice soft fruits or make soy/almond milk with this machine.

Is Hamilton Beach Slow Juicer worth it?
Save your 200 bucks for a better cold press juicer. This machine is fragile, poorly designed and definitely not going to be your everyday juicer.
