The Omni Pro air fryer toaster oven is packed with features, and I’ve described the most important and those I’ve used most often in detail below.
Large Capacity
The Instant Pot Omni Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven is quite large. You an toast 6 pieces of bread, bake a 12-inch pizza, or roast a chicken easily in this air fryer toaster oven. You can even fit a 9×13 inch pan, even if it has shallow handles. A 9×13 inch pan with 1-inch handles on both sides will not fit.
Even Crisp Technology
Even Crisp Technology in the Instant Omni Pro is similar to other air fryers from Instant Pot. Air is heated and then pushed downward from the top, through the ingredients to the bottom. In their newest 6-quart basket air fryer, the Instant Pot Vortex Plus, this results in uneven baking. In this air fryer oven, the results are a bit different thanks to the next feature in this list.
Golden Quartz Infrared Heating Technology
The Instant Pot Omni Pro uses quartz infrared heating to superheat air to 450 degrees quickly. This feature is responsible for the short 3-minute preheat time recommended by Instant Pot. It also helps foods cook faster than in a traditional convection oven or a conventional oven.
Integrated Meat Thermometer
The new feature, probe cooking, keeps track of the internal temperature of your dish. Hence, it gives you peace of mind in preparing a food-safe meal. This feature, however, can’t be used in the rotisserie setting.
I have loved the probe cooking feature while teaching kids how to cook food safely. It also alerts you through the program timer when the meat is done, which I find most helpful when slow-cooking ribs.
Split Cook
Split cook is a unique feature for a one-basket air fryer oven. Split cook is actually a cooking program that you can set to start with one cooking function at a set time and temperature, then flip to another cooking function at a different time and temperature for the remainder of cooking.
This feature is great if you want to cook something that needs to be crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. You can set your chicken wings to air fry first for a crisp outer layer, then switch to bake to get the slower cook for juicy and tender meat.

Air Fry
The air fry feature is further made possible by the air fry basket that comes with the toast oven. You won’t fit as much in this basket as you would a basket air fryer, but you will be able to air fry enough fries or wings for at least four people.
Broil
Broil is the setting to use for melting cheese or carmelizing the top of your recipe. It is best to put the oven rack in the top position for this cooking function.
Roast
The roast feature works great for a 2-4 pound beef or pork roast, or small portions of ribs. I think you get better results with roasting a chicken by starting with the air fry feature then moving on to the roast feature using the split cook. It will give the skin that extra crispy texture without sacrificing the juicy tenderness of the meat.
Reheat
You don’t want to get rid of your microwave, but there are a lot of things that reheat better in an air fryer toaster oven. Pizza and leftover burgers or sliders are perfect with the reheat function of the Instant Omni Pro. It allows the crispy crust or bun to stay crispy while the rest reheats.
Bake
Unlike basket air fryers, the bake function works very well in the Instant Omni Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven. It is essentially a convection oven though, which means recipes designed for a convenctional oven will need to be modified.

Here’s an interesting fact:

Now, I can’t stress this enough, but the built-in probe makes everything absolutely effortless. Especially if you’re not an experienced cook.
Think about it:
Not all recipes are the same and more importantly, ingredients’ sizes vary a lot. Therefore, your recipe’s actual cooking time might be different than the instructions given to you. As a result, you might end up with undercooked/overcooked food.
That’s where the built-in probe comes in. Thanks to this, you only need to edit the temperature you want for the recipe and the machine will do the rest. Essentially, the Instant Omni Pro will automatically stop cooking once the food reaches your desired temperature.

How to Clean the Instant Omni Pro Air Fryer?
In general, cleaning the Omni Pro Oven Air Fryer is painless. Most of the accessories and parts are dishwasher-safe (except for the temperature probe). And you can just wipe down the cooking chamber with a warm and soapy sponge.
On the other hand, the oven exterior requires a dry cloth for cleaning.
Pro Tip: Line the baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil, or spray with non-stick cooking spray for easier cleaning, but be sure it doesn’t touch the heating elements or the sides of the oven. Any parchment paper should be held down by ingredients so it doesn’t blow into the fan or heating element.
You should also be mindful of putting the small pieces in washable mesh bags to keep them intact while running through the dishwasher.

No, none of the parts or accessories of this air fryer toaster are nonstick, which is why I recommend using parchment paper or aluminum foil as appropriate to make cleanup easier. There is an enamel coating on the baking tray.
Will a 9×13 pan fit in the Instant Pot Omni Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven?
Yes, most 9×13 pans with a shallow handle can fit into this air fryer toaster oven. I will say that my Pyrex with 1-inch handles does not fit.
