As you know, Instant Pot is famous for its Pressure Multi Cookers. Now that they’ve expanded to more kitchen equipment, the question has to be asked—Is it as great as their original “Instant Pot”?

Instant Pot’s Ace Blender is considered a multifunctional kitchen appliance. So, it’s safe to assume that it has numerous applications. Even with just its automatic blend settings, there are already 8 different recipes.

Unlike Vitamix Blenders and Blendtec Total Blender, it can make hot chunky soups since it doesn’t rely on friction to heat up your recipe.

On the other hand, it can’t pulverize flour as efficiently as other powerful blenders. Also, the Ace Blender is not robust enough for thick smoothie bowls and nut butter.

Is Instant Pot Ace Blender easy to use?

Unfortunately, the controls of the Ace Blender are not so straightforward. First, there are multiple buttons, which can get confusing the first time. It’s also not organized since both hot and cold settings are placed randomly.

Moreover, the pitcher is uncomfortably heavy, making this product not ideal if you have mobility issues. 

Here’s the good news:

Even though it has many buttons, the 8 walkaway blend settings make things easier. For instance, the soup selection will automatically run for about 12 minutes and intermittently blend (for chunky or smooth results). 

So, you only need to add the ingredients, press the button, and let the blender do the work for you. Also, you can customize your blends with the 3-speed control.

In terms of sanitation, it comes with a self-clean feature. In other words, cleaning is still manageable even if the pitcher is not dishwasher safe.

Ace Blender Technology

The most excellent technological feature of the Instant Pot Ace Blender is undoubtedly the affixed 600-watt heating element. If you must know, there are only 4 brands (I encountered) that have this hallmark, so this feature is still distinctive and remarkable.

Oh, and by the way, you can change between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C). When you’re in standby mode, simply press and hold the start/pause button for 5 seconds.

Best of all:

It comes with a timer that counts down when you’re using automatic settings and counts up in manual mode. By having so, you can multitask in the kitchen better.

On the flip side:

The Instance Ace Blender doesn’t have manual control over its heating element. Since you can’t change the temperature or timer, it’s cumbersome to make anything beyond its automated settings.
