What can you make with Instant Pot Ace Nova Blender?

With the blender’s one-touch programs, there are already eight recipes you can make. Considering its 1000-watt power, that’s already fantastic if you ask me.

Anyway, here’s what you can create with the Ace Nova Blender:

One point I really like about this blender is that you can easily blend chunky hot soups. It is simply not possible with high-performance blenders since they rely on friction to heat soups.

Another thing is the soy and rice milk. The soy milk has to be cooked afterward, whereas the rice needs to soak in hot water. So, using the Ace Nova Blender will make it a lot easier since the blender can directly heat up the milk (or water). Therefore, less transfer and more minor cleanup!

Here’s the catch:

You can’t make advanced recipes with the Instant Ace Nova, such as nut butter or thick smoothie bowls. In that case, you should check out more powerful blenders—such as Vitamix E310, Blendtec Total, Breville Fresh and Furious, or Ninja Foodi Blender (with a built-in heating element too).

Is Instant Pot Ace Nova Blender easy to use?

Coming from someone who regularly uses Vitamix blending machine, the user interface of the Instant Nova Blender is undoubtedly intimidating. It comes with 16 buttons which eclipse traditional blender controls by a wide margin.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that it’s that difficult to use. There’s a learning curve, but it’s not that steep. Once you get used to it, you’ll be surprised by how easy it is to use.

It comes with eight automatic blending presets. There’s a shortcut for making smoothies, purée, crushing ice, frozen desserts, soy milk, rice milk, nut/oat milk, and soups. You can make these fantastic recipes at a press of a button.

Since it has a glass container with a base housing the heating element, it’s a little heavy to move around. Perhaps another big disadvantage of the Instant Pot Ace Nova is it can’t be submerged. In short, it’s not dishwasher safe.

The best way to clean it would be to fill it up with water and dishwashing soap mixture, run the self-clean mode, then rinse the inner part of the container without getting the base wet. Afterward, you can wipe the outer portion of the container and the motor base with a clean damp cloth.

So, all in all, using and maintaining this product is a little bit challenging than your average blender. If you have mobility issues, you should get a blender with a lighter pitcher such as a Vitamix blender or a Blendtec model.

Instant Ace Nova Blender Technology

Even though it’s advertised as “adjustable programs,” you can actually only adjust the duration. The temperature for hot blends can’t be modified. Therefore, making recipes beyond the available presets won’t be easy.

Luckily, the more recent Ace Plus blender has already addressed this issue.

Now: 

For the Instant Ace Nova, the other excellent innovative function is to keep warm.

Here’s the kicker:

Your hot blends will automatically be kept warm for a maximum of 2 hours. This is incredibly helpful if something comes up or if you simply forgot about it. Additionally, you can adjust the “keep warm” temperature as to not overcook your recipe.
