Kuvings C7000

If you’re expecting a slow juicer that can take whole apple or carrots, you got Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite completely wrong. It’s not your fault though as it’s been promoted as a ‘whole slow juicer’ ever since the first whole slow juicer was launched.

This machine is not the same as centrifugal juice extractors with ultra wide feeding chute that can crunch whole fruits and veggies. Even though the chute offers a 3-inch diameter you still have to cut your produce into manageable chunks, but not as small as you would in a standard vertical slow juicer.

Now that you know that you still have to chop your produce into small chunks, let’s discuss its features and improvements from the B6000 Series.

It still operates under a silent 60 RPM motor capable of processing all types of produce, be it soft fruits, hard produce, and leafy greens. Aside from a sleeker look, it’s also been improved to prevent leakage and increase the efficiency of extracting juice from leafy greens. Another notable improvement can be found in its scraper, the new ‘Y’ design offers a more efficient way of mixing smoothies. Last but not the least the smart cap has a new metal finish which adds a luxurious appeal to it.

This electric juice press is available in three colors–red, silver, gold.

Kuvings C7000 being a 3-in-1 machine can do more than just juicing, it can also help you make frozen sorbets and make smoothies with an optional attachment. You can’t add ice in it but you can allow the pulp to go with your juice using the blank strainer. If you want your juice to be pulp free you can use the optional sieve that can sit nicely in the juice cup.

Features & Product Details

Is it Easy to Use?

Kuvings C7000 is easy to use, just don’t try to put whole produce down the chute as it’s going to break your machine. Assembly and disassembly are pretty straight forward, it will only take you 3-5 minutes at first try. What will take your time though is preparing your fruits and vegetables. It is self feeding (you don’t need a pusher) but you need to chop everything into smaller chunks to make it easier for the auger to process it.

Is it Easy to Clean?

This machine is not dishwasher safe, there’s no other option but to wash it manually. If that sounds terrible to you, at least I already warned you. Pick a juicing machine then that is dishwasher safe. Cleaning by hand however, will just take a few minutes, say 5 to 10 minutes. As long as you wash your juice maker immediately after every use, cleaning it will be a lot easier.

Juice Quality

Since we’re dealing with a slow juicer, I can safely conclude that the juice quality will always be superb. The slow juice extraction minimizes oxidation which happens a lot with centrifugal juicers. Oxidation breaks down some of the nutrients and minerals in your juice that are vulnerable to oxygen. Overtime, it causes the quality of your juice to diminish. Thankfully that process is minimized by a slow RPM, and this is the very reason why you can store your cold-pressed juice for up to 72 hours.

What Kinds of Produce Can it Juice?

This juice press can handle all types of produce—soft and hard produce, leafy greens, citrus fruits, beans, and nuts.

Hard produce includes fennel, broccoli, apple, pear, coconut, sweet potato, pineapple, cucumber, cilantro, garlic, cauliflower, pumpkin, turmeric, asparagus, pepper, celery, watermelon, ginger, carrots, beets, yakon, and bitter gourd.

Leafy greens include brussels sprout, pine tree needles, kale, collard greens, cabbage, spinach, parsley, spring onion, moringa, basil, dandelion greens, wheatgrass, peppermint, lettuce and beet greens.

Citrus fruits include lemon, mandarin, lime, grapefruit, tangerine and orange.

You can also puree soft produce such as grapes, blackberry, mango, melon, kiwifruit, papaya, tomato, peach, avocado, strawberry, pomegranate and cranberries using this machine.

You can also use this machine for making soy and almond milk (use soaked almonds and soybeans) and as well as for making sorbet and other frozen treats.

Verdict

Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite is a great vertical masticating juicer as long as you’re not going to expect it to work like a centrifugal juice extractor. It has a wide feeding chute but you still have to cut your produce into small pieces.
