Mueller Austria Vertical Masticating Juicer
Mueller Austria Vertical Masticating Juicer

Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro is currently unavailable at Amazon, but it might still be on eBay as a preloved item. Or you can also check this amazing slow juicers for a similar product, or perhaps an even better alternative.

Slow juicers from known brands can cost you $250 upwards. For most buyers, that’s a significant investment, but it sure has its perks. You’ll be able to process more extensive varieties of fruits and vegetables with a cold press juice extractor.

A Benjamin Franklin can afford you that luxury with the Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro Vertical Slow Juicer. That single paper bill is significantly cheaper than an Omega or a Hurom juicer.

You might be wondering if you’ve seen this juicer before. Yes, it has a twin sibling in the form of AICOOK SD60K Juicer. They are identical juicing machines. Except for the color, everything else is the same.

To put things into perspective, AICOOK manufactures the juicer, and Mueller Austria sells it as its own product (white label).

Alright, if you’ve read my review on the AICOOK juicer, you can skip this one as I have the same verdict. It’s not that great machine, but it’s good enough introduction to the world of juicing.

It can help you make basic juice recipes, green juices and as well as non-dairy milk alternatives.

Pros

  • Did I say it’s one of the most affordable slow juicers
  • Can take one wide variety of fruits and vegetables—dense produce, citruses, and soft fruits
  • Works well for juicing leafy greens, grasses, sprouts, and herbs
  • It can also process soaked nuts and beans if you would like a glass of non-dairy milk
  • Larger feeding chute in comparison to popular slow juicers, which means less prep time
  • Cold-pressed juice retains more nutrients in a more extended period (3 days max)
  • Uses less energy
  • BPA free components
  • Small footprint
  • Multi-purpose—it can also make nut butter, sauces, and baby food

Cons

  • Not dishwasher safe
  • Louder than other slow juicers
  • Some vertical masticating juicers like the Juice Max Pro produce a pulpy juice. If you don’t want those fibers, you might need a sieve at hand.
  • 2-year warranty coverage is a little short compared to top slow juicers. However, you can extend it for two more years if you’ll register your product with the manufacturer.
  • Not as efficient—it can process all types of fruits and vegetables, but you might find the pulp a little wet.

Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro Features

Is it easy to use?

Juicers like this are a tad challenging to operate. It comes with complex parts that will give you a hard time assembling. The key is to line the parts properly.

Since this is a whole slow juicer, you might think that you wouldn’t have to cut apples and carrots, but that’s not the case. There are genuine whole slow juicers in the market like the Kuvings Chef CS600, but the Juice Max Pro doesn’t belong to that class.

You still need to cut your fruits and veggies into manageable chunks if you don’t want to damage your new juicer.

It was not mentioned by the seller, but I’ll have to let you know in advance that you’ll find your juice a little pulpy with this juice extractor. It’s because of the bigger holes in the filter basket.

Is it easy to clean?

One complaint about the Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro is it’s difficult to clean because of unreachable places in the juicer bowl. It comes with crevices where fibers can get stuck. Add the fact that it’s not dishwasher rated and you’ll see what I mean.

Juice Quality

Now let’s discuss the good part. Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro is a cold press juicer, it’s the gold standard of juicing. So in terms of juice quality, it doesn’t disappoint.

What kinds of produce can it juice?

The Mueller Austria Cold Press Juicer is a fantastic machine for juicing dense produce, citruses, soft fruits, and leafy greens.

Solid fruits and vegetables like cilantro, celery, turmeric, broccoli, garlic, pepper, cauliflower, asparagus, apple, watermelon, pear, ginger, carrots, pineapple, beets, yakon, sweet potato, bitter gourd, cucumber, pumpkin, and fennel works well with this juice extractor.

It can also process leafy greens such as cabbage, lettuce, basil, collard greens, spinach, brussels sprout, parsley, wheatgrass, peppermint, kale, spring onion, pine tree needles, dandelion greens, beet greens, and moringa.

The filter basket of the Juice Max Pro has large holes. It’s also designed to puree soft fruits like berries, bananas, mangoes, avocadoes, etc.

Not to mention that it can easily juice citruses such as lime, lemon, oranges, grapefruit, etc.

But wait, it doesn’t stop there. If you’re interested in making non-dairy milk alternatives, this slow juicer can do just that; provided that you soak your soybeans or nuts overnight, and make sure to have a cheesecloth at hand.

As versatile as it can get, you can also make nut butter, baby food, and sauces with the Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro.

Is Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro worth it?

Mueller Austria Juice Max Pro Vertical Slow Juice Extractor comes with a few issues. To be honest, I’m half-hearted at recommending this product. If not for its affordability, I won’t recommend this juice press to anyone.

Here’s the thing, if you’re not new to juicing, skip this one and just save up some more for a better slow juicer. However, If you’re just starting out, feel free to play with this machine.
