The Ninja Foodi Pro or the Ninja FD302 is a mid-range multi-cooker with 6.5 quarts maximum pot capacity. It’s slightly bigger than the Ninja Foodi Compact but a little less generous than the Ninja Foodi Deluxe XL.
If you don’t want your pressure cooker that stands out like a sore thumb, then this mid-size model might be the perfect fit for your available real estate.
Amazingly, it has more functions than the Deluxe XL. But I’m pretty sure, Ninja is going to bump that number up. It’s a bad marketing strategy for their mid-range product to offer more functions than its flagship model.
Going back to the Ninja Foodi Pro, here are all its eleven uses—pressure cook, slow cook, steam, bake/roast, air fry, sear/saute, broil, dehydrate, sous vide, make yogurt, and keep warm.
I have since ditched my rice cooker for those extra functions. It’s pretty handy to have a pressure cooker at home. It will tenderize your meat in a matter of minutes versus waiting for hours. But what I like about this model is it has a sous vide mode.
Anyway, here are a few more things you need to know about the Ninja FD302 Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer.

What can I make with Ninja Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker?
Undoubtedly, the Ninja Foodi 11 in 1’s best feature is the 11 cooking functions. By having so, you can make limitless recipes!
In any case, here’s what you can do with it:
With all these functions, you can replace several appliances in exchange for the Ninja Foodi FD302. So regardless of its significant size, it can actually save you some space (and money).
Performing several cooking functions in one machine is doable with the Ninja Foodi. For instance, you can saute, then slow cook. Or, pressure cook, then finish up with air fry.
Additionally, in terms of active cooking time, the pressure cooker will do most of the job so you can rest easy. Not to mention, pressure cooking will be so much faster than traditional methods. For instance, recipes that may take 4 hours will only take about 24 minutes.
Moreover, you can effortlessly achieve tender, juicy, AND crispy results thanks to their TenderCrisp technology.
You can cook multiple batches in one go (depending on your recipe) with the stainless steel rack. Essentially, it adds a layer to the cooking pot for more space to steam or broil.
Now, before we move on to usability, here’s something you should know:
Ninja Foodi features a non-stick coating. To prevent any scratches, ONLY use silicone/plastic tongs and spatula.
Is the Ninja Foodi 11 in 1 easy to use?
I’ll be blunt, all multi-cookers have learning curves.
Luckily, here’s the good news:
You’ll quickly understand the easy-to-use controls, so the starting point will be a piece of cake. Plus, Ninja includes a 45+ recipe cookbook to get you started.
On top of that? The Ninja Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker has a few user friendly functions. For instance, when the sous vide function finishes preheating, it will tell you to “ADD FOOD.”
Here’s another example:
Suppose a pressure buildup occurs when the selected function is slow cook. In that case, the Ninja Foodi will notify you to open the vent. Otherwise, the machine will shut off to prevent any accident.
Likewise, the Ninja Foodi Pro assembles comfortably. Watch this video from SharkNinja on how to use the accessories.
On the flip side:
Using the crisper plate with no handle is more challenging than a basket. To get things out, you have to remove the cooking pot altogether. Nevertheless, it’s just a minor flaw in exchange for a bigger capacity.
Now, let’s talk about the cleanup:
Is the Ninja Foodi 6.5 qt easy to clean?
Thanks to the ceramic coating, cleanup with the Ninja Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker is a breeze.
You don’t even need to load these removable parts in the dishwasher. In fact, the dishwasher may damage the non-stick coating over time. So, by hand washing, your Ninja will last longer.
Tip: ONLY use soft sponge and non-scouring pad to clean the non-stick components.
Before you wash the pressure lid, gently remove the silicone ring first. Then, you can clean both parts (without submerging the pressure lid) with the soapy sponge just like you would a normal dish.
Lastly, you only need to wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. You can also use a squeezed up sponge to prevent any water from entering the electronics.

Don’t take my word for it, watch this quick video demo from the brand.
The Ninja Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker is one of the most functional kitchen appliances. It features 11 cooking functions, so the recipes it can make are inexhaustible. Moreover, it highlights 6.5 quarts cooking capacity and 4.6 quarts of air frying volume, excellent for hefty servings.
If baking is more of your strong forte, you should consider the Ninja Foodi Deluxe Bake Kit. It includes a loaf pan for bread, a multipurpose round pan for cakes, and a crisper pan for pizzas or quesadillas.
And the best part? It’s not even that expensive, and you get three accessories in one!
Note: The crisper pan for this bundle is different from the crisper plate that this model comes with.
On a slightly similar note, the Dehydrator Stand is the best Ninja Foodi accessory you can buy. Here’s why:
Standalone dehydrators have layers to dehydrate multiple foods at the same time. If you solely use the broil basket, it’s pretty limited. Therefore, the Dehydrator Stand is a must if you like homemade dried fruits.
Ninja also sells a glass lid, yet you might already have one that fits. So, a new one with the same size is kind of unnecessary.
As for the replacements, these are the available ones:

Is the Ninja Foodi Pro worth it?
With all of the things I’ve discussed, it’s fair to say that the Ninja Foodi Pro Pressure Cooker is something you should consider. It may not be the most budget-friendly multi-cooker. Yet, it’s still cheaper to get this multifunctional Foodi compared to buying a myriad of appliances.
