The Ninja BL610, more commonly known as the Ninja Professional Blender 1000, is one of the earliest pro series models. Despite having been around for more than five years, it’s still widely popular.
When it was first released, it’s marketed as a blender that can crush ice. The company isn’t lying—it does work as advertised—thanks to its stacked blade design and robust motor.
As I’ve said, Ninja Bl610 is an old product. It’s still an excellent cheap entry-level countertop blender. Still, you’ll be missing out on some of the brand’s newest innovations.
The closest alternative that the kitchen equipment manufacturer offers is the Ninja HB152 or the Ninja Professional Blender.
Anyhow, let’s find out if the Ninja Blender 1000 still worth it:

Ninja BL610 Features
What can you make with Ninja Professional Blender 1000?
The Ninja Blender 1000 is quite powerful for a cheap blender. The total crushing blades were designed to crush ice instantly, making it ideal for making smoothies.
Apart from making smoothies, it can also help you create:
For the record, it can’t make hot soups nor, can it process dry ingredients. If you’re looking for those qualities, that is something only a Vitamix blender can offer; the only issue is they are pretty pricey.
Also, you can look at the brand’s line-up for a budget-friendly alternative. Consequently, you can check the Ninja Foodi blender—it’s their latest cooking blender that can make hot soups.
According to some consumers, smoothies made by the Ninja Blender 1000 are quite average. It won’t yield a silky smooth result like its more expensive counterparts. However, this minor inconvenience can be easily redeemed by its affordable price.
I guess it is a cliché, but allow me to say it. You always get what you pay for.
Is Ninja Pro Blender 1000 easy to use?
Ninja’s innovation on its total crushing blade and pitcher has its pros and cons. It’s great for crushing ice, but it made the whole process a bit complex—from assembly to pouring your smoothie.
Here’s what I mean:
Never pour the blended items without removing the blades, and don’t remove the lid when it’s running. Unlike standard blenders with fixed blade assembly, the Total Crushing Blades are removable.
Or you could also use the spout to transfer the contents of your Total Crushing Pitcher safely.
Now let’s get to the better end of the deal.
The controls of the Ninja 1000-watt blender are very straightforward. You only have to deal with five buttons, including the power switch. There are three levels of speed to choose from and pulse control. It’s more of a manual blender with digital buttons.
The best thing about the BL610 is that all the detachable parts are dishwasher safe and BPA-free.

The Ninja Professional Blender 1000 ships with a 72 oz. Total Crushing Pitcher (with a lid) and the Total Crushing Blade. It’s a standalone countertop blender, making it incompatible with the Nutri Ninja cups or their food processor attachments.
