Alright, I would be making this fantastic product a great disservice if we’re not going to explore its capabilities.
Let’s go on with the review.
First, the Nutri Ninja Pro has four models; there are the 900-watt variants—BL450, BL451, and BL456; and there’s also the 1000-watt model, the BL455.
I had a hard time figuring which is which, so I decided it would be best to present it in this simplified comparison table.
Scroll horizontally for more information.
|Wattage rating||900 Watts||900 Watts||1000 Watts||900 Watts|
|Cup capacity||18oz & 24oz Cup||12oz, 18oz & 24oz Cup||12oz, 18oz & 24oz Cup||12oz, 18oz & 24oz Cup|
|Lid type||Sip & Seal Lid||Sip & Seal Lid||Spout Lid||Spout Lid|
|75 Recipe Cookbook||N/A||N/A||Yes||N/A|
Since it’s an old product, most of the variants are not available as a new item. The only product which has a healthy inventory is the BL455 model.

Nutri Ninja Professional Features
What can you make with Nutri Ninja Pro?
The Nutri Ninja Professional Blender was designed for making smoothies, but you can do so much more with it. Though it can only blend at a constant speed, it has a manual pulse control.
It might seem insignificant, yet having a pulse feature will give you more flexibility over your blend’s quality.
So apart from being a reliable smoothie maker, your Nutri Ninja Pro can also help you make sauces, frozen desserts, and more.
Here’s a complete list of what you can do with it.
Just remember, the Nutri Ninja Pro BL450, BL451, BL455, and BL456 are not intended for grinding dry ingredients nor processing hot items. Please stick to the list above for safety reasons and always add a liquid portion to all your recipes.
Is Nutri Ninja Pro easy to use?
What I like about the Nutri Ninja Pro Single Serve Blender is it’s a very straightforward product. It doesn’t come with any button at all. To start blending, all you have to do is twist and push.
To lock it in place, you need to twist the cup and blade assembly clockwise. Pushing it will turn the motor on, and releasing the pressure will turn the machine off.
In theory, you can pulse it by simply pushing and releasing the pressure.
Another good thing about the Nutri Ninja Professional is its detachable parts are all dishwasher safe, including the blade assembly.

Don’t take my word for it, watch this quick product demo video from the brand.
The Nutri Ninja Pro is an excellent portable smoothie maker. Despite its size, it has a powerful 900-watt motor to thoroughly blend smoothies. It’s also straightforward to use given that there’s simply a twist and push mechanism. Moreover, it comes with 3 different-sized BPA-free cups, 24 oz (709 mL), 18 oz (532 mL), and 12 oz (354 mL).
Another positive aspect of the Nutri Ninja blender is it comes with an assortment of BPA-free and dishwasher-safe cups. If you purchased their ultimate package, you’re getting three containers and a 75 recipe cookbook.
Nutri Ninja Pro Extractor Blade (Included)
If you need to replace your good old extractor blade, here’s something compatible. Getting it from a third party is cheaper.
24 oz Nutri Ninja Cup (Included)
Model # XSK2424
This comes as a standard container for all the Nutri Ninja Pro variants. You can make up to two servings of smoothies with it, and it also doubles as a to-go cup.
18 oz Nutri Ninja Cup (Included)
You’ll also get this 18-ounce cup with any of the Ninja Pro models. If you’re going to make a smaller batch of smoothies, it’s the perfect cup.
12 oz Nutri Ninja Cup (Included for BL451, BL455, & BL456)
If you picked the base model (BL450), you wouldn’t have this cute cup. It’s the best single-serve container for smoothies and for making a small number of dips or sauces.
Ninja Sip and Seal Lid (Included for BL450 & BL451)
You’ll get two pieces of this sip and seal lid when you purchase either the BL450 or the BL451. It comes with a narrow, horizontal spout. If your smoothie is not thoroughly blended, you’ll have a hard time sipping out any leftover chunks of nuts or tough ingredients.
Ninja Spout Lid (Included for BL455 & BL456)
Thankfully, that’s not an issue with the Ninja Spout Lid. It comes with a circular opening for ease and comfort. You’ll get one complimentary spout lid when you opt for the BL455 or BL456 variant.
