The most powerful machine from the makers of Osterizer is the Oster Versa Pro 1400-Watt Blender. It has more torque than the Oster Pro 1200 Series.
The thing is, it’s not a new product. The Oster Versa Pro Series is the contemporary of the Vitamix 7500 professional blender. It also offers a low-profile jar design with a fixed blade assembly and the same length of warranty coverage.
Well, it seems that the Oster Versa Pro Series is the brand’s answer to Vitamix back then. When it comes to affordability, I’ll give it to Oster. You can buy two Versa Pros for the price of one Vitamix 7500 Series.
It can go head to head with existing commercial-grade blenders without costing you an arm and a leg. We can say that it really is a performance blender at a fraction of the price.

Oster Versa Pro Series Blender Features
What can you make with Oster Versa?
The Oster Versa Pro is a powerful full-sized blender. It’s excellent at crushing ice and performing general food processing tasks.
Here’s a list of what it can help you with.
I’m not really sure why the company opted for miles per hour (MPH) with this blender’s speed. 250 MPH is significant if we’re talking about cars, but it doesn’t make sense for a blender.
Anyhow, according to their website, 250 MPH translate to a maximum 28K revolutions per minute (RPM). It’s equally powerful as a Vitamix blender.
However, the Oster Versa 1400-Watt blender has some limitations.
Make Flour—It’s not designed for grinding whole grains.
Hot Soups—It can process hot items, but it can’t make hot piping soup on its own. You need a separate pot to heat your ingredients up.
Is Oster Versa easy to use?
In comparison to the flagship Oster Blender, the Oster Versa Pro Series blender is a whole lot easier to use. The blade system is fixed to the container. There’s no complicated assembly and disassembly this time.
As you can see, the control panel is not a sight to behold, but it has a very straightforward function. You can blend manually by turning the dial clockwise.
If you want to access the preprogrammed functions, set your dial to the programmed/pulse mode. You can then use any of these three walkaway blending cycles—smoothies, soups, and dips.
Here’s what you should expect with those functions:
- Smoothies—10 seconds on medium speed, then 20 seconds on high speed
- Soups—20 seconds on medium speed, then 5 minutes on high speed
- Dips/Spreads— 2-minute 10-second pulses at medium to low speed, then 30 seconds on high speed
As a bonus, it comes with a low profile 64 oz (1.9L) container. It’s a large capacity pitcher, but it will surely fit your counter space.
Sadly though, it’s not dishwasher safe. You’ll have to wash this blender manually. To make things easier, just fill your container half-way through with warm water. Add a few drops of dishwashing soap, then run it for a minute. After that, just rinse it, and you’re done.
