SKG A10 is currently unavailable at Amazon, but it might still be available on eBay as a preloved item. Another option would be checking out the latest best cold press juicers for a similar alternative.
The SKG A10 Whole Slow Juicer is a premium product, so don’t expect this machine to be cheap. To be honest, this juice extractor is quite a stunner with its minimalist look. If you’ll allow me, it’s a mix of Hurom’s design language and Kuvings’ tech.
I’ll be doing SKG a disservice if I’ll not mention that the SKG A10 Juicer won the 2018 Red Dot design award. It’s the same prestige that Hurom earned with the Hurom Elite Slow Juicer, a 2013 awardee and Hurom HZ back in 2015.
However, I can’t really compare this machine with Hurom because it’s not a standard vertical slow juicer. It’s leaning more towards the rank of whole slow juicers like the Kuvings B6000, Kuvings C7000, and the newer Kuvings EVO820.
The SKG A10 is a more affordable option. It’s also a standout in terms of juice quality and juice yield because of its further reduced motor. It’s a more superior machine in every aspect as far as juicing is concerned.
Unlike Kuvings, the SKG A10 is solely a juice maker. It can’t make non-dairy milk alternatives nor puree soft fruits.
Pros
- #9 Top 10 Juicers {Overall}
- A well-designed product
- Reasonably priced
- Slower RPM (36 revolutions) makes it more efficient at extracting juice
- It can process a wide variety of produce
- With its 3.15-inch feeding chute, it can juice a whole apple
- There’s a secondary 1.75 chute for longer veggies such as celery and carrots. You still need to cut your carrots though, but lengthwise will do.
- Two juicing screens included—coarse to for a pulpy juice, and a fine one if you don’t want any fiber in your drink.
- Includes a juice cup with a built-in sieve
- 72 hours of juice shelf life
- High juice yield and nutrient retention
- Silent operation
Cons
- It’s not dishwasher safe
- If you want to make ice-cream or soymilk with the SKG 10 Juicer, it doesn’t have that feature as there’s no blank filter included. Without this accessory, it also won’t be able to puree soft mushy fruits. So, basically, it’s solely a juicing machine.
- Short warranty coverage of just 2 years
SKG A10 Features
Is it easy to use?
Whole slow juicers are a new breed of juice extractors. There’s a little bit of learning curve to it, but it won’t take long to get used to.
One thing that you need to pay close attention to with the SKG A10 Cold Press Juicer is its mouths. It has a primary 3-inch flip-over chute, and a secondary 1.75″ channel.
The bigger one can process a whole apple, but it won’t risk dropping any other whole fruits and vegetables in it, especially those denser and tougher ones. Citruses will work too, but including the peel, rinds, and seeds can ruin the taste of your juice.
Though it has a mouth as big as a high-speed juicer, you can’t really skip on your slicing skills. However, larger portions will do just fine.
The best use cases for the smaller spout are long items such as celery, carrots, cucumber, etc. It would be ideal to cut these veggies (apart from celery) into four parts, preferably lengthwise.
Is it easy to clean?
I’d say it’s a tad challenging to maintain, considering that it’s not dishwasher safe plus it has bigger parts. The top set and the juicing screen will probably take the most of your time. The chute has some hard to reach crevices, and you need to brush off fibers and residue stuck in the filter basket.

Don’t take my word for it, watch this official product video of SKG:
Juice Quality
Here’s a fact—it’s the slowest whole slow juicer. It only spins at about 36 RPM, 50% slower than the competition. This feat makes the SKG A10 more efficient at extracting juice from fruits and vegetables. At the same time, this low RPM also minimizes oxidation.
The SKG A10 excels both in juice yield and nutrient retention.
If you’re curious, yes your juice will have a shelf life of 3 days as any other cold-pressed drink.
What kinds of produce can SKG A10 juice?
This juice press can take on dense produce, leafy greens and citruses.
It can juice a whole apple, but it’s still ideal to get rid of the core and the seeds. Celery and asparagus don’t need cutting, these items can go straight down the smaller chute. Carrots, radishes, cucumbers, zucchini should be cut lengthwise, and the secondary chute is also its best point of entry.
Fibrous produce such as beets yakon, pumpkin, turmeric, sweet potato, fennel, and other items like pineapple, watermelon, garlic, broccoli, etc. should be cut into manageable chunks before dropping it into the flip over chute.
Since the SKG A10 spins at 36 RPM, it can efficiently juice leafy greens such as kale, collard greens, spinach, parsley, spring onion, moringa, basil, peppermint, lettuce, beet greens, etc. with ease. Larger items need to be cut accordingly.
For citruses like lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, tangerine, you should peel it off first and remove the rinds and seeds if possible for a better tasting juice.
If you want some pulp or fiber in your juice, use the coarse filter.
This electric juicer is not intended for making soy and almond milk and as well as for pureeing soft fruits.

Is SKG A10 worth it?
The SKG A10 Big Mouth Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor is an average performer in terms of usability and maintenance. However, it’s a capable juicing machine which excels both in juice extraction efficiency and nutrient retention.
If you’re in the market for a whole cold press juice extractor, you’re looking at the best and the cheapest model available. I highly recommend this product to beginners and experienced juicers alike.
