Note: This recipe requires a slow cooker.

Add all the ingredients and cook on low for 2-3 hours. You’ll know it’s done if the oats have absorbed the liquids. Depending on your slow cooker, it may take longer (including the preheat time).
After that, it’s just a waiting game. That’s how easy it is!
Once the cooking is done, let the apple cranberry steel cut oats cool first (approximately 30 minutes). Then, you can store it in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge overnight.

Sliced bananas (about half per serving)
- If you’re going to use cranberries, thaw that first to room temperature (NEVER add frozen ingredients into your slow cooker). Then, prepare the apple.
- Add all ingredients and slow cook on low for 2-3 hours. If preheating is included in the duration, add more time.
- Afterward, let it cool for about 30 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container and place in the fridge overnight.
