The Vitamix 7500 Professional Blender is part of the brand’s legacy products. It’s identical to the Explorian E320 besides the beveled control panel and a longer cord.
In terms of pricing, the 7500 blender is a little bit expensive despite being a 7-year-old product.
Don’t get me wrong, Vitamix’s legacy blenders are still as capable as its newer models. In fact, Vitamix 7500 has a more powerful 2.2 HP motor giving it an edge over more recent products with just 2.0 peak horsepower.
Just so you know, only 2.2 HP blenders are compatible with Vitamix’s 64-ounce (1.89 L) low-profile container. It turns out that a wider blade requires more torque to operate efficiently.
So now, let’s discuss its pros and cons.
PROS
- Classic design
- More powerful motor
- 10 variable speed
- Pulse control
- 64-ounce (1.89 L) low-profile container included

- 7-year warranty
CONS
- Pricier than newer products
- Food particles can get trapped in between the switches
- The included container is not dishwasher safe
- No preset for self-cleaning
- No smart features
Vitamix G Series 7500 Features
What can the Vitamix 7500 blend?
With a 2.2 HP motor, Vitamix 7500 isn’t your average smoothie maker. It’s an indispensable kitchen tool that can cater to a variety of uses.
Here’s a partial list of what it’s capable of:
*This will work best with the Dry Grains attachment.
What makes Vitamix blenders so versatile is their trademark 10-speed settings and pulse control.
The good news?
Vitamix 7500 is compatible with a more significant low-profile container. It’s perfect for preparing multiple recipe servings for a household of four or more.
And to top it all off, you can add more functions to your Vitamix machine by getting an optional attachment, which I’ll show you in the accessories section.
Is it easy to use, though?
Is Vitamix 7500 Blender easy to use?
Like any other classic blender from the brand, the Vitamix 7500 Professional Series only has a few buttons to work with—an on/off lever, pulse switch, and the 10-speed dial.
With very few options, operating it is a piece of cake.
It also comes with a more convenient low-profile container that is easier to reach and surprisingly more efficient.
With regards to maintenance, unfortunately, this product is not dishwasher safe. You’ll have to wash it manually, but it’s only going to take you 2-3 minutes.
If you’re looking for something that is dishwasher-friendly, check out the Ascent Series.

Vitamix 7500 Accessories
Despite being an old model, Vitamix 7500 Professional Series is compatible with other low profile containers and classic accessories.
If you already have a Vitamix 7500, an upgrade would be unnecessary. Just get any of these attachments, and your machine will be good as new.
By the way, these accessories are all BPA-free.
Classic 64 oz (1.89 L) Container
Model # 15856
I don’t recommend this narrow container, but I won’t stop you if you have any valid reason to get it. The thing is, newer low-profile containers are more efficient. The broader base plus the reverse vortex mechanism prevents the ingredients from aggregating at the center for a more consistent blend.
48 oz (1.4 L) Stainless Steel Container
Model # 067891
If you’re a perfectionist, getting this stainless steel pitcher will preserve your ingredients’ natural flavors. It’s non-reactive, stain, and odor resistant. With a heavy-duty build, it’s also the advisable container for processing harsh and hot items.
32 oz (946 mL) Dry Grains Container
Model # 56090
If you’re regularly working with flour, how about make it from scratch the next time? I bet there’s a massive difference between freshly ground wheat and store-bought flour. You can put it to the test with this 32-ounce (946 mL) dry grains attachment.
Personal Cup Adapter
Model # 61724
This Vitamix Cup and Adapter is a refined accessory. It’s a better alternative to buying a separate personal blender and perhaps even a cheaper option.

Is Vitamix 7500 worth it?
Even though Vitamix Professional G Series 7500 has been around for several years, it still has the qualities of a heavy-duty Vitamix blender. It’s highly recommended to those looking for a classic and a high-power blender.
On the other hand, if you want something newer from the brand, it shares the same image and likeness with the Explorian E320.
