It’s a well-thought product from the brand, and I applaud them for their ingenuity.

The smaller opening is perfect for slicing. It can stabilize fruits and veggies for more precise and even cuts. The bigger one is ideal for shredding potatoes and other larger produce.

What you’ll love about this Vitamix accessory is it’s relatively easy to assemble. Instead of a twist and snap mechanism, it uses a stack and lock system.
In simple terms, all you have to do is stack all the components in place, and you’re good to go. Don’t worry; it has a safety feature that prevents it from running if the parts are not locked in place.
The Vitamix Food Processor attachment works with Vitamix’s smart blender series. If your motor-base doesn’t have a button for self-cleaning, you need to install the Perfect Blend App.
Aside from the auto-clean preset, you’ll also have access to more than a dozen pre-programmed functions.
