Wolf Gourmet Blender is a household machine that looks and works like a commercial blender. To put it into perspective, it has a stainless steel base, a durable build, and ridiculous blending prowess.

Think about it:

It has a phenomenal speed of ~20,000 rpm or 210 m/h (337 k/h)—that’s way beyond the speed limit on a highway.

Here’s more:

The “commercial aesthetics” is thanks to the stainless steel finish combined with their signature red knob. In fact, when you get Wolf Gourmet Blender, the speed dial is probably the first one you’ll notice. Though, if red isn’t your thing, it’s also available in silver and black knobs.

Now, let’s find out what else this product can offer.

PROS

  • Traditional stainless steel design with unique knob aesthetics
  • 64-ounce (1.89 L) capacity
  • Clear markings in ml, oz, cups
  • 4 walkaway programs
  • Responsive 12-speed control with pulse
  • Durable stainless steel blade
  • Two-piece emulsion cap assembly
  • LCD control panel with timer

  • 5-year warranty

CONS

  • Lavish price tag
  • It has a bit of a tall profile
  • It’s not dishwasher safe
  • Food bits can get in-between the dial and buttons
  • Smoothie function is not that efficient
  • No available attachments like personal cup, food processor, bowl

Wolf Blender Features

What can you make with Wolf Gourmet Blender?

The Wolf High-Performance Blender is a powerful machine, so any blender recipe is likely doable. Here’s what you can make with it:

a glass of green smoothie
Smoothies

*These recipes might require more liquid and some assistance with the tamper.

Here’s the catch:

The smoothie preset is not that efficient, especially for green smoothies. Luckily, you can always re-run it to liquefy any remaining lumps.

Also, compared to its close competitors—Vitamix A3500 and Blendtec Pro 800it can’t knead dough. Fortunately, it’s not a big deal for the Wolf Blender, since it’s not the primary use of a blender.

Now, let’s carry on with its usability.

Is Wolf Gourmet Blender easy to use?

The controls are pretty straightforward. There’s the bevel, speed dial, start/stop button, and pulse button. Frankly, this is much simpler than having 20 buttons.

More importantly, there’s an LCD for your blend details such as the speed, program, and timer.

Here’s the deal:

One of the best features of the Wolf High-Performance Blender is the 4 pre-programmed walkaway settings—smoothies, ice crush, puree, and soups. It may not be unique, but it’s undoubtedly beneficial, especially in a busy kitchen.

Think about it:

You’d only need to prep the ingredients, then put them in the blender. Once you close the lid, select your desired program and let it be. It will run on its own, so you can do other stuff.

With cheaper blenders, you’d have to watch it for 2-5 minutes. This one will stop on its own and will not over blend your recipe.

Better yet?

Your recipes will be consistent on any day. You don’t need to write, “2 minutes, while slowly ramping up to speed 8” (or something to that effect).

Now:

Naturally, you can also do a custom blend for something beyond the 4 automatic programs or when you’re whipping up your own recipe.

First, make sure that the speed dial is pointed at 0. Then, turn the bevel selector to manual. When you’re ready, press the start/stop button and adjust the speed accordingly.

See the Wolf Blender in action:

Don’t take my word for it, here’s a quick video demo of the Wolf Gourmet High-Performance Blender.

The Wolf Blender is an incredibly high-powered machine with a 2.4 peak horsepower. For context, it’s robust enough to heat soup with just the blades’ friction. Also, the Wolf Gourmet Blender features a 64 oz (1.89 L) container to accommodate more than 4 people. More importantly, it has 4 walkaway blend settings that make things effortless.

On a slightly different note, let’s talk about its maintenance.

Is it easy to clean?

The pitcher, unfortunately, is not dishwasher safe, and it doesn’t have any self-clean preset. Nonetheless, cleanup is just as straightforward as any blender.

Simply blend a warm soapy water mixture for about 30 seconds. Then, rinse the pitcher with running water, and you’re finished. As for the motor base, you only need to wipe it with a damp cloth.

Is Wolf Blender Worth it?

The Wolf Gourmet High-Performance Blender is an excellent choice if you plan to make more than just smoothies such as fresh flour, hot soup, nut butter, etc. Sadly, it’s a bit expensive. If you have the budget, however, then this product should certainly be on your shortlist.

However, if you’re looking for a cheaper option, then you might want to check out the Vitamix Explorian E310; It’s still a high-performance and professional blender, but for a more affordable price. Perhaps, even our best blender—Vitamix A3300.
