To be honest I’ve been to several juice bars and I haven’t seen one using a proper commercial juicer. They are all using household juicers just like as listed above. There’s is no problem with it however household juicers are only intended to work continuously for 30 minutes. It may overheat and might affect the quality of the juice. In addition commercial use voids the warranty.
I’m not sure how juice bars get away with it, but maybe you can too by doing the following.
- Purchasing multiple juicers and alternate use every 30 minutes
- Don’t tell the manufacturer that you are using their product for your business
- Otherwise set aside an extra budget for equipment repairs and replacement
In addition to these tips you will be required to purchase two types of juicers—a centrifugal juicer and a cold press juicer.
Centrifugal juicers are fast, ideal for customers who are going to drink the juice right away or at least within 24 hours. Cold press juicers are ideal for two to three day detox plans, juice extracted from slow juicers last for 72 hours.
If you are really looking for a proper commercial juicer Waring Commercial Je2000 and Nutrifaster N450 are your only options.

Waring Commercial JE2000
Waring JE2000 is a heavy duty commercial centrifugal juicer which can reach 16,000 RPM. That is the fastest RPM as far as centrifugal juicers are concerned. This means that it can turn produce into a glass of juice in just a few seconds, perfect for clients who prefer to drink on the go. In terms of durability the exterior is made of die-cast aluminum and the juicing parts are stainless steel making sure that the juice your customers will drink are free from plastic contaminants.
The pulp ejection system allows uninterrupted juicing, you can discard the pulp easily with the dishwasher-safe plastic container.
Being a centrifugal juicer it’s only limited for juicing hard produce and citrus fruits. Soft fruits and juicing leafy greens alone isn’t possible. If you have green juice in your menu, make sure to combine enough hard produce to aid in juice extraction. Making soy and almond milk with this machine is also not possible.
Now let’s talk about the price, this heavy weight will cost you around $3,000. For one juicer that’s going to be a bad decision if you’re just starting up. You can buy three sets of centrifugal and masticating juicers with that amount.

Nutrifaster N450
This commercial centrifugal juicer is only half the RPM of Waring JE2000 but it’s still fast. At 3450 RPM it can still extract juice from fruits and vegetables in mere seconds and it doesn’t make so much noise.
This machine is really made for juicing large quantities of produce, you can position the pulp ejection tube directly in the waste receptacle below. No need to stop when the pulp bin is full.
Similar to the JE2000, it also features stainless steel juicing parts, but it’s a little cheaper by three to five hundred dollars if you’re buying a used model.
Since we’re still talking about a centrifugal juicer this machine isn’t ideal for making green juice, processing soft fruits, let alone making soy and almond milk. However it’s good enough if the juice recipes are more on hard fruits and vegetables.
Why Not Twin Gear Juicers and Hydraulic Presses?
While twin gear juicers and hydraulic juice presses are the most efficient juicing machines, they are just too difficult to use. Time is very important in a business setting, you don’t want your employee to spend too much time preparing a glass of juice. You need to maximize time to serve customers better. Make sure your juicers are easy to operate.
Conclusion
If you’re serious about your juicing business you need to purchase multiple juicers, at least two centrifugal juicers and two cold press juicers. This will cost you more or less $2,000 which is still less than the price of buying one of the commercial centrifugal juicers I mentioned above. Now I see why most juice bars prefer household juicers than a proper commercial juicer. Waring JE2000 and Nutrifaster N450 are very expensive which isn’t justified by a one year warranty.
Hopefully, the information I provided helped you find the best commercial juicer for your juice bar. Having the right equipment is just one step toward establishing a successful juicing business. Best of luck!
