The Omega J8005 Nutrition Center is a high-quality masticating juice extractor with auger speeds between 75 to 85 RPM. Centrifugal juicers process at speeds up to 15,000 RPM. This may seem ideal, but it does little to preserve the flavor and nutrients in the juice. With its slow speed, it reduces oxidation, foam, and heat buildup, therefore producing juice high in vitamins and antioxidants. This single gear juicer effectively utilizes a two-stage extraction process to remove the juice.

This is a juicing machine, constructed with sturdy parts. Their patented stone, mill-like auger is capable of crushing tough produce and nuts, like carrots or almonds. Is it Easy to Use?

Anyone can easily set up this juicing machine. It only seems a touch confusing at first, but after the first time, assembly becomes easy enough to put together in a few seconds from that point moving forward. Prior to operating the juicer, feel free to set it on some paper towels or a hand towel if the noise is too much for you. Cut and slice your produce into thin sections so you can place them easily down the chute. Since the chute only measures 1.5 inches across; larger pieces of fruit and veggies cannot fit into the tube

Run the pulp back through the machine to ensure you have extracted as much as you are able to. This method reduces heat buildup, oxidation, therefore limiting any damage to your juice; thus increasing the shelf life of your juice to up to 72 hours. Ensure that you pour your juice almost to the top of a container using a tight lid. If you can, use a glass container to store your juice. A glass container is always better than a plastic one.

Included in your purchase are nozzles that can be used to make pasta of varying shapes and sizes, you can choose between a flat or a round noodle; better yet you can add some flavor to your pasta to make a Korean style u-dong noodles. Nozzles with larger opening can be used to form bread sticks. The bad news is you still have to prepare your dough.

It can be used as a food processor to chop your meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables into fine pieces for any meal you’re planning. This mincing/grinding ability also allows you to prepare ingredients for marinades, salsas, soups, and sauces. Additionally, it can also process soaked rice and beans producing a puree-like consistency.

You can even grind your own coffee beans for a fresh cup of java with this machine. Some coffee beans (especially gourmet coffees) have higher oil content, this have to be dried overnight for easier processing.
