Masticating Juicers can process almost everything, from fruits and vegetables to leafy greens such as wheatgrass, spinach and kale. Some models can even help you make soy and almond milk.
The efficient low-speed masticating technology presses and extracts juice instead of shredding like high speed juicers do. The juicing screw masticates the fruits and vegetables, breaking down the cellular structure and releasing the nutrients and minerals. This technology minimizes oxidation and preserves nutrients and healthy enzymes, producing a fresh all natural juice which can last up to 72 hours.

Customer Reviews
“We decided 2 years ago to juice for health. I spent hours online investigating juicers and realized that the cheap ones wouldn’t last. Anyway, we figured a few hundred dollars investing in your well being isn’t a big deal. After reading about the industrial quality of the Champion, we made the move and have never regretted it. Besides being efficient and relatively quiet, it blasts through any type of veggie or fruit, with ease. And we have timed the clean-up at 3 minutes or less. Simply rinse, soak and wipe. Just be careful with the cutting part. The only downside as with any commercial-grade appliance, is the weight. We keep it on the counter for 2 reasons. It’s heavy and hard to store and if we keep it out, we are more likely to use it. So get juicing, just for the health of it with a true Champion. Cheers!” - J. Hauser
“I grew up in the 1970s with a Champion, and was especially enamored by its ability to make nut butters. My mother still has her Champion from that era! I recently purchased my own G5-PG710 Champion 2000+ Commercial Juicer, and I cannot rave enough about it! It makes amazing juice, extracting way more juice from the vegetables and fruit than other juicers of similar price. Plus, aside from the excitement of nut butter production, I’ve also discovered the excitement of making instant sorbet with no additives, simply by putting frozen fruit through the machine! Now I can’t wait to get the grain attachment, so that I can make my own flour and corn meal! I am in love with my Champion, and I’m very glad I decided to get this classic machine. Finally, another thing I really appreciate about this machine is that it’s made by a family-owned company in California’s Central Valley, where I’m from originally. I love to support American-based manufacture, especially in a region of the country that needs all the employment-assistance it can get. This machine is amazing!” - Nancy
“I bought my first Champion 20 years ago. It was the home model and it was superb. I gave it to a friend who was pressed for dough and bought the commercial model, which is the same size, essentially, but with a different motor. That was ten years ago. It still works like it did the first day I took it out of the box. The only part I have replaced is the cutter, which, after ten years, seemed like it might be getting dull. The Plastaket Company is a mom and pop operation that really loves their product and puts enormous care into each machine. When you call during their business hours, a person answers the phone, not a machine. Recently, I was intrigued by the Omega 8000 series, which seem to be an emulation of the Champion but with a hard plastic “auger” instead of an auger with steel teeth. I saw a demo on youtube where the guy was pushing the Omega over the Champion, and insinuating that the Champ warms the juice and destroys enzymes. This is pure bull. I have tested the juice with a thermometer and it typically is around 68 degrees; enzymes start dying (depending on whom you ask) at about 104 degrees. The pulp can be wet at times but I put it back through. The quality of the juices is superb. I have never tried to juice wheatgrass with it, and I have heard it does not do a good job with that; however, I regularly juice all kinds of leafy greens including kale, lettuce, and parsley, and it goes a great job with them. It’s fairly quiet and it’s easy to clean. The integrity of the company is awesome and they build these machines to last. I am a fan.” - Loui Napoli
