This juicer uses a cold-pressing system which extracts 35% more juice from your produce when compared with traditional high-speed juicers. Hurom HU-100 is a masticating type juicer which can easily process fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, wheatgrass, nuts, and soy to make a variety of juices, milks, sauces, marinades, even baby food. This juicer uses the patented slow squeezing technology that gently squeezes the fruits and vegetables. This retains heat-sensitive nutrients such as Vitamins A and C, and live enzymes.

Masticating Juicers can process almost everything, from fruits and vegetables to leafy greens such as wheatgrass, spinach and kale. Some models can even help you make soy and almond milk.

The efficient low-speed masticating technology presses and extracts juice instead of shredding like high speed juicers do. The juicing screw masticates the fruits and vegetables, breaking down the cellular structure and releasing the nutrients and minerals. This technology minimizes oxidation and preserves nutrients and healthy enzymes, producing a fresh all natural juice which can last up to 72 hours.

” I’m extremely happy with my Hurom juicer. To me, it’s the best of both worlds between the fast juicing Breville and the slow juicing Green Star. The Hurom is a fast juicer, SUPER EASY cleanup, fun and easy to use, and I love it. I get plenty of juice in one session, which is great. It quickly and efficiently juices greens like kale and romaine while flawlessly juicing cucumbers, apples, and other “watery” fruits. The pulp varied from dry (hearty leafy greens, like kale) to semi-moist (romaine, apples, etc). The juice typically had little foam, but it would depend on what I juiced to determine that. I like to strain my juice quickly with a nut milk bag after making it anyway, so if there is a little pulp or foam on it, it gets held back when straining. I love the warranty, too.” - Kristen Susan

“I juice every day and could not be happier with this juicer! I use it to juice carrots, greens, apples, berries…. I have no problem juicing any of these and the ejected pulp is very dry. It is also very fast, I have spent a lot of time in the past using other juicers that take a lot of time. This is as fast as a high-power centrifugal juicer, but only works at 80 rpm! A great way to get high quality juice, fast. My favorite part about it is how easy it is to clean. I can easily be done cleaning in 3 minutes!
