The adjustable end cap with 5-settings increases juice extraction efficiency. You can use setting 1 for citrus fruits and setting 5 for tougher items like wheatgrass. Masticating Juicer Benefits
Masticating Juicers can process almost everything, from fruits and vegetables to leafy greens such as wheatgrass, spinach and kale. Some models can even help you make soy and almond milk.
The efficient low-speed masticating technology presses and extracts juice instead of shredding like high speed juicers do. The juicing screw masticates the fruits and vegetables, breaking down the cellular structure and releasing the nutrients and minerals. This technology minimizes oxidation and preserves nutrients and healthy enzymes, producing a fresh all natural juice which can last up to 72 hours.

“ This juicer is a clear upgrade from the J8006. The larger feed tube makes daily juicing much easier and the adjustable nozzle allows you to get the most out of all your juices! I regularly juice and apple and orange with lots of leafy greens and this handles all of them with ease.
I started with a Breville centrifugal juicer and it created quite a bit of waste and frothy foam in every glass. The clean up was terrible also. I upgraded when I decided to go on another health kick and got the Omega J8006 and it turned me into a 5-7 time per week juicer. I was always amazed at how much more juice I got than the Breville juicer and little to no foam with almost everything I juiced. Reduced cleanup time and higher quantity and quality of juice received from the Omega Juicer made me a believer. The biggest drawback was how small some things needed to be cut to be able to fit in the juicer. The NC800 is basically the same machine as the J8006 but with a feed tube almost 80% larger! I couldn’t be happier with my upgrade!” - Brian
“I absolutely love my new juicer. I would recommend when juicing a variety of soft and hard fruits and veggies that they be alternated. If you juice a lot of soft items, say, tomatoes, it will back up if you add too much at once. You don’t want to force a lot through. This type of juicer is for slower extraction. so take your time. I have had this for a good month or so. I have found that by taking my time and alternating the fruits and veggies it goes off without a hitch. I made a veggie juice of cherry tomatoes, carrot, red pepper, beet , and celery. I alternated the veggies in the order listed and had no issues what so ever. I learned this through trial and error over the time i have had the juicer so i wanted to share and help any people new to juicing avoid the frustration of their juicer backing up. great juicer. juices wheatgrass perfectly.” - ACF
“I have a Breville fountain elite and my good old champion juicer I’ve had for years! The Breville, while fast, wastes a lot of fruits or veggies. You will throw, say a whole apple in (the feed shoot is huge) and sometimes before you even great your pusher ready, there will be a clunk that makes your juicer shake as it so it’s a big hunk of apple (or carrot etc) into the pulp container. I love the look of it, but found myself always going back to my champion. The champion is a single auger juicer. It has small blade, like actual saw blades molded into the auger.
While this had served us well through the years, i couldn’t deny, celery strings etc got caught in those blades and it didn’t take long for the blades to become inefficient, it would still juice, but friction of your next fruit or veg. Trying to get to the blade heated the juice. It also runs at a high rpm. Now i have this new baby and i have to say i love it. I love the 2 screen, the pulp is very dry and the juice stays cool. It is quiet and has chewed up everything I’ve fed it from greens to apples. Pulp from pineapple, oranges or grapefruit can clog the screens a bit, but i just let in run and sometimes throw in a apple chunk to help it work through. After having it and using it, this info should never hold you back from this purchase. It’s really not a big deal. Clean up is easy. I do sometimes wish that the top “funnel” part could be removed from the shoot, but it doesn’t bother me enough that I’d ever get rid of it. I just use my bottle brush. Hope this helps, I’m very happy with this purchase! “ -Lori Nehring
