This vertical masticating juicer has a single-phase induction and a dual-stage juicing system that ensures maximum juice and extremely dry pulp. With a feeding chute that is approximately 2.25 inches by .25 inches, it is wide enough to make the pep work very minimal. What is great about this juicer is its automatic wiping system that makes use of a silicone wiping blade that keeps the juicing screen free from excess pulp. This makes cleaning so much easier. Omega VRT330 is very easy to assemble, operate and clean. The vertical design also makes it compact and can take only a small space in the kitchen.

There are no blades that will go dull over time. Assembly takes seconds. Before getting the Omega juicer, clean-up was painful and required a lot of time. Even with our best efforts, it was nearly impossible to fully clean the old juicer. The Omega masticating juicer, on the other hand, has little in the way of “nooks and crannies” and can be FULLY cleaned in a SHORT period of time. All in all, this juicer exemplifies thoughtful design with a concentration on quality, durability, elegance, and style.There are a few things to be aware of. For one, you’ll need to cut your fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces and not force feed the juicer. If you let the juicer function as it was designed to, you’ll get great juice yields and not need to reverse the auger during the juicing process. Two, the juice will have some pulp which may be a turn-off to some. Lastly, this juicer is more expensive than most. I really like this juicer, however, it takes a little getting used to. The first basket cracked in three places, because the chunks of vegies were too large, I think. I called the company and they said they would replace the basket if I sent pictures showing the breakage. I did so, but have not received the replacement. In the meantime, I can still use the cracked basket and am cutting the pieces much smaller. It is very true that the juice tastes much fresher because you are “squeezing” the juice out at a low speed, not grinding it out at a very high speed. I highly recommend this juicer, just be careful about the size of the veggie pieces you feed into it. — Linda

I purchased this juicer from another website and received it today. I couldn’t wait to use it and I am not disappointed! It is quiet when working and more of a space saver than my other juicer. I have a Jack Lalanne and it is a very good juicer, but I read that a masticating juicer saves more nutrients than a juicer with blades. Compared to my other juicer, this VRT juicer leaves less waste than the Lalanne juicer which tells me I’m getting a lot more juice. With fruits and vegetables getting more expensive, I know I will save money. This juicer also has a 10 year warranty since I purchased it new. Cleanup is a breeze as long as you clean as soon as you juice. I don’t think I will go back to a juicer with blades. — L.Reed
