The Omega VSJ843Q Series is the slowest vertical masticating juicer out of Omega’s previous models. It’s the square-shaped version of the VSJ843 line-up. Here’s the round shaped models if you’re curious. There’s basically no difference between these machines except their body profiles.
Don’t waste your money on this slow juice extractor. It got tons of negative reviews when I first wrote this piece. I’ve read several complaints about it being easily breakable.
The sleek Omega VSJ843R Series is the round versions of the VSJ843 line-up. In contrast, the Omega VSJ843Q Series is square or cube-shaped. It is available in a silver finish, the Omega VSJ843RS or in bold red, the Omega VSJ843RR. This vertical slow juicer operates at 43 RPM instead of the standard 80 RPM. It features an all-new twin-winged auger, which makes it twice as efficient during operation. The auger has been redesigned to work in conjunction with the Automatic Wiping System. This innovative design made it possible to remove the additional gear that has powered the AWS in previous models.

Harnessing the ingenuity of it’s patented second-generation slow squeezing technology, it procures high yield levels of juice rich in nutrients. Weighing only 13 pounds, it also has a smaller footprint, taking up less space on the kitchen counter. It has a handle making transport much easier as compared to other upright masticating juicers in the market. Another great thing to mention is that the plastic is entirely BPA-free.

It’s one of those affordable juicers that doesn’t scream cheap, definitely not bad for your first juice extractor. However, the huge turn off for me is that… it’s not constructed using BPA free materials.

This product is for those who have little time in the morning and prefer the convenience of a high-speed juicer. What I like about this product is it comes in 7 color options and you can pick a package with a real food processor attachment.
Champion Juicer 4000 shares the same powerful motor with the original Champion juice extractors, a 540 watt A/C motor that can peak at 1725 RPM. Now, that is pretty fast for a masticating juicer, it’s close to being a centrifugal juice extractor. With that power, it can help you squeeze juice from all types of produce including hard fruits and vegetables, soft fruits, leafy greens. It can even process nuts for making soy milk and nut butter. The bad news is the juice can be too frothy.
In terms of juice yield and juice quality, nothing comes close to Green Star twin gear juicers. I believe Green Star Pro Commercial Twin Gear Juicer is in the same league or maybe even better. The motor stays similar but a lot of improvements were made to make assembly much easier and to improve its juice extraction efficiency.
Champion 2000 Household Juicer is a powerful masticating horizontal juice extractor coming in white or black from the Champion website. In other places, you can also pick it up in an almond or silver color. In addition to extracting juice high in nutrients, this juicer is multi-functional. You can make salsa, nut butter, coconut milk, and baby food. Homemade is better than store bought any day of the week!
