The Best Omega Juicers

Among other juice manufacturers, Omega has the most diverse product range. They have three vertical slow juice extractors (including a whole slow juicer), three centrifugal juicing machines, eight masticating juicers (one having a cube-shaped design and one particular model was optimized for juicing celery), a twin gear juicer, and three citrus presses.

That’s a total of 17 options, which is quite intimidating if you only need one product. Fortunately, this guide is intended to help you make that decision. So, let’s go ahead and find the best Omega juicer that will match your needs and budget.

Omega 8006 HDS – The Best Omega Juicer

Omega 8006 HDS, the best omega juicer

The Omega 8006 HDS is a 5th generation nutrition center. It’s the successor of the ever-popular 8006 classic model. It shares some of 8006’s best features, but it’s more efficient and durable. You’ll get a 2HP motor, BPA free parts, 25% larger funnels, and larger and stronger screen housing.

It was the consistent best masticating juicer for years, but the manufacturer is currently phasing it out. Get it now, while it’s still available.

The new flagship model of Omega’s masticating juicer line up is #2 in our list—The Omega MM900HDS.

Both excel in juice extraction efficiency and nutrient retention, but Omega 8006 HDS has more to offer. You’ll still get the complimentary food processing accessories at the same price.

MM900HDS is Omega’s new flagship model. It’s identical to the Omega 8006 HDS in terms of design. Have a closer look. It’s basically the same product, but the former has been optimized for juicing celeries and leafy greens.

MM900HDS’ juicing screen has a tighter clearance than the 8006 HDS. However, it’s made strictly for juicing. It doesn’t come with extra food processing accessories.

If you’re also using your juicer for other purposes like making non-dairy milk alternatives, making pasta, mincing sauces, etc., this is not the model you should upgrade to.

Despite that shortcoming, it’s still one of the finest masticating juicers out there with a seal of quality from Omega. It can make green juices, celery juices, or any type of juice. It’s a dependable product that will last you more than a decade.

As the name suggests, it’s a cube-shaped juicer. If Marie Kondo, would pick a juicing machine, I guess this would be her choice. It’s the only juice extractor that has built-in storage. All the parts can be stored in one convenient place.

Despite its extraordinary design, it doesn’t disappoint in terms of juice extraction efficiency and nutrient retention. Plus, you’ll still get all the extra functions you’d expect from Omega.

If you’re looking to upgrade your Omega juicing experience, the NC1000HDS would be a perfect choice. This nutrition center is the brand’s newest premium, heavy-duty masticating juicer.

It’s bigger and more powerful than the 8000 HDS or the MM900HDS. It can process wheatgrass with ease, leafy greens, celeries, root crops, berries, citruses, etc.

You can also make nut-based milk alternatives with it and perform a whole range of food processing tasks when you’re not juicing. It is as capable as the Omega 8006 HDS with even more accessories.

Aside from its outstanding performance, this heavy-duty machine is quite a head-turner. The clean, angled design is a break from Omega’s traditional style.

The good news is, despite being a premium product, Omega NC1000HDS is still quite affordable.

MMV700S completes Omega’s line-up of juice extractors. It’s a whole slow juicer, which is basically a vertical slow juicer with a bigger spout. Omega has two other vertical slow juicers, the VRT400HDS, and the Omega VSJ843. Those are traditional vertical slow juicers with small chute opening.

The apparent advantage Omega MMV700S has over these traditional products is it can accommodate bigger portions of fruits and vegetables. It can literally process a whole apple as long as it fits its 76mm chute.

Other types of produce should be cut in a way that would optimize the machine’s efficiency and significantly reduce your preparation time.

Unfortunately, this product is currently out of stock. I will update this guide as soon as it becomes available.
