5 Best Small Juicers Available – Mini Juicer Reviews & Buying Guide

Looking for the best small juicer for your needs? We know how confusing it can be! Especially if you are new to juicing.

There are dozens of mini juicing machines in the market, and you might end up with a lousy product if you don’t know what you’re looking for. But you are in luck because we do know what to look for.

The good thing is most trusted brands have a compact juicer in their product catalog. Hurom is by far the most focused on this kind of juicing machine, but they are also on the premium end of the market.

If you want something affordable, buy a Dash Juicer or the Shine Juicer from Tribest.

Without further ado, I present to your the Best Small Juicers on the market.

That’s the TL;DR version of this buying guide. You can read the full review of each product by clicking the links above. Or, we can continue exploring all your options down below.

Top 5 Best Small Juicers

#1 Dash Juicer – Best Value Compact Juicing Machine

Dash Juicer

By definition of compact, Dash Juicer has the slimmest profile in this roundup. In addition, it’s also the most affordable option.

Up to this point, I still can’t believe how cheap it is. If we take its average retail price, you could buy almost four Dash juicers for the price of one Hurom HP.

IMHO, it sounds like a really good deal.

Despite its small body, I’ve found it processes almost all types of fruits and vegetables. It takes on dense produce, leafy greens, and citruses. In addition, it’s also capable of making nut-based milk alternatives.

The thing I don’t like about this mini juicer (and the Hurom HP, for that matter) is its crescent-shaped feeding chute. I had to cut my produce into small pieces to fit such a narrow opening. When you are used to working with whole slow juicers like I am, this is a major aggravation.

#2 Hurom H101 – Best Premium

H101 Easy Clean Juicer

Hurom H101 was the Best Juicer of 2020, but it has since passed the torch to its bigger sibling the Hurom H200. Though that might seem like a negative point against this fantastic product, it’s still one of the best juicers out there.

In fact, it’s the Best Premium Small Juicer Machine in this roundup.

It is the most expensive mini juice extractor but deserves a premium price tag. It’s the only cold press juicer with an easy-clean filter basket, a luxury in the small juicer market.

All of the juicers in this buying guide have the traditional filtration system. My problem with it is that it’s a magnet for fibers and residue build-up.

Hurom’s easy clean line-up answer to this issue is Hurom H101 and Hurom H200. I wouldn’t do justice explaining the whole thing, so feel free to check the videos by reading the full review of each juicer.

#3 Tribest Shine Cold Press Juicer

Shine Juicer

I’ve known Tribest as the de facto brand for twin gear juicers; Green Star Elite is their flagship product in this market. And to be honest, I’m quite surprised when they released the Tribest Shine Juicer.

Even though it’s a white-labeled juicer from Aobosi, it still earned my seal of approval. Tribest didn’t just put their brand name on it. They added an additional year of product guarantee, updated product manual, plus a few more upgrades.

With this product, I again had to cut my produce into relatively tiny pieces. But I found the juicer capable of handling both dense and soft produce.

The original product is as cheap as the Dash juicer. Tribest Shine costs twice as much based on standing SRPs.

#4 Magic Bullet Mini – Best Cheap Small Juicer

The Magic Bullet Mini Juicer has a few of my favorite features from more expensive juicers. It has an adjustable, no-drop silicone spout, a 2-inch-wide chute, and a powerful 400-watt motor.

Here’s why it’s the Best Cheap Mini Juicer?

  • It’s made by Magic Bullet
  • The MSRP is only $59.99
  • It’s a tiny juicer with a decent-width chute

But I noticed Magic Bullet had to skip a few corners to create such a low-cost juicer. I found the metal sieve a little tricky to clean. And as a centrifugal juicer, it can’t juice leafy greens worth anything. But if these things don’t bother you, the Magic Bullet Mini Juicer is worth a look!

#5 Kuvings SC Series Silent Juicer

Kuvings SC Series Juicer

Kuvings’ product line mainly revolves around whole slow juicers or cold press juicers with a 3-inch feeding chute or bigger. We don’t have that kind of product in this roundup, but if you’re interested, you can check my Best Cold Press Juicer Buying Guide.

This Kuvings juicer, again, has a small chute like the others in this category. And while I noticed it to be relatively slow, it was quiet. So if you don’t like annoyingly loud juicers, this may be the one for you.

The Kuvings SC Series is the brand’s second-generation vertical slow juicer. In terms of pricing, it’s close to Hurom H101. Kuvings is a premium juicer manufacturer, which explains the high price point. They produce high-quality products backed by lengthy warranty coverage.

In essence, it’s also a premium compact slow juicer. It does, however, come with an old-fashioned filter basket design. On the bright side, Kuvings thoughtfully provided a specialty cleaning brush to deal with those pesky fibers and residue.

Performance-wise, it can do pretty much anything. It’s great for making celery juices, green drinks, or any other fruit and vegetable juice. You can also use it to make soy and almond milk.

There you have it, the Best Compact Juicers on the market.

I must say that Breville Juice Fountain Compact or the Breville BJE200XL is also worth mentioning on this list. However, I don’t really recommend this product as it’s a little bit complex to operate.

It doesn’t have an external pulp ejection system making the juicing process more of a chore than a fun and fulfilling activity. If you’re juicing in bulk, you constantly need to stop and replace the filter cloth. It’s an added hassle and, at the same time, an extra expense.

Over To You

A Compact Juicer is perfect if you have a tight kitchen space. That’s particularly true if you’re living in a small apartment, perhaps a tiny house, or maybe you’re looking for a portable juicer for your outdoor adventures.

Mini Juicers may be small, but they are as functional as their full-sized counterpart. It’s an excellent machine for making celery juices, green drinks, and basic fruit and veggie juice.

So, I’m leaving you with the Best Small JuicerHurom HP.

Happy juicing!
