Tribest Shine Cold Press Juicer gives me a déjà vu vibe. I know that I have reviewed this product before. And true enough, it’s the exact replica of the Aobosi cold press juicer. It’s another white-labeled product on my list.
White labeling is a common practice on Amazon. You’ll often see similar products with different brand names. Sometimes they’ll make it slightly different, but you’ll notice the resemblance if you give it a good look.
The good thing about the brand is they repackaged the Tribest Shine Compact Vertical Cold Press Juicer completely. They added another year of warranty and a more detailed manual. The juice tap is not even there when I first reviewed this item.
Overall, it’s an even better product than the original one, perhaps justifying their 50% markup.
I think it won’t beat Dash Juicer in terms of affordability. However, it’s still more inexpensive than premium brands like Hurom Juicers.
In conclusion, the Shine Juicer remains an excellent option if you’re looking for an affordable and compact slow juicer.

Features of the Shine Juicer from Tribest
Several features of the Shine Juicer set it apart from other juicers I’ve tried. That said, there are also some drawbacks. Here are my favorite features.
Very Small Footprint
The Shine Juicer only takes up 5.25 x 5.5 inches of space on your counter. This is one of the smallest juicers available. It can sit on your counter in a designated spot when not in use or tucked away into a cabinet with other dishes or small appliances. It is the perfect juicer for those living in an apartment with little counter space.
Masticating Juicer
This is a vertical masticating juicer, which means it breaks down fruits and vegetables at a low speed and pushes them through a screen. Running at just 35 RPM, this masticating cold press juicer can handle dense and softer produce.
Juice Cap with Silicone Seal
The juice cap with a silicone seal flips shut after you toss in your ingredients. This has two main benefits. The silicone seal helps ensure that your counter stays clean during juicing, even though the blades are churning while it operates.
Second, the churning of the blades keeps juice mixing evenly as you feed different types of produce without making a mess on your counter. I love all the juice recipes I can make with the Shine Juicer.

Is Shine Cold Press Juicer easy to use?
Shine Juicer is pretty much straightforward to operate. You need to assemble a total of nine parts, which can be confusing at first. All that’s left is to position the juice and pulp container; then, you can start juicing.
Many people report they never get the hang of assembling and disassembling this juicer. I found it easy after a bit of practice. The key is to assemble it from the bottom up rather than putting together the upper portion before attaching it to the base.
Slow juice extraction time is the main disadvantage of cold press juicers. This drawback is due to the slow motor speed and tight chute clearance. However, the Shine Juicer does have a slightly larger chute than its direct competitors. Still, except for the Hurom H200, you should always cut your fruits and vegetables into 1-inch chunks.
While a glass of juice will only take 5 seconds for a centrifugal juicer, it will take a couple of minutes for a slow juice extractor. However, it’s a small price to pay for getting more juice volume and nutrient content.
One of the important things I want to mention is that you can only run this juice for 10 minutes per day. If you are juicing dense produce, this could be only one glass of juice. I can still make orange juice for our family of 4 in the Shine Juicer, though, as it only takes a couple of minutes per serving.
What Kinds of Produce Can the Shine Juicer Process?
This cold press juicer can take on almost all types of produce. It can juice dense and fibrous ones, citruses, and, most importantly, leafy greens.
Dense fruits and vegetables include beets, carrots, pineapple, watermelon, cilantro, sweet potato, asparagus, bitter gourd, celery, garlic, cucumber, ginger, yakon, pumpkin, fennel, broccoli, pepper, pear, turmeric, apple, cauliflower.
Remember, you need to chop these items up into 1-inch sections.
It can also easily take on citruses like tangerine, grapefruit, oranges, limes, lemons, etc.. Don’t skip on removing the peel, seeds, and rinds for optimum juicer performance and a better-tasting citrus drink.
Last but not least, this machine is also excellent for making green juices out of dandelion greens, lettuce, peppermint, beet greens, brussels sprout, moringa, pine tree needles, collard greens, spring onion, basil, wheatgrass, spinach, kale, cabbage, and parsley.
Sadly though, the Shine Juicer is strictly for juicing. It doesn’t come with extra accessories for making soy or almond milk, ice cream, or pureeing mushy fruits like banana or avocado.
Juice Quality
Shine vertical slow juicer excels in nutrient retention and juice yield. Despite being an affordable juicing machine, its juice is of top quality.
It’s a known fact among juicing enthusiasts. Cold-pressed juice is more nutrient-rich than a drink extracted by a high-speed juice extractor. The slow juice extraction minimizes the breakdown of nutrients. That is the reason why cold-pressed juice has a longer shelf life.
Is it easy to clean?
Unfortunately, nothing in the product manual says that the Tribest Shine Juicer is dishwasher safe. The only way to clean it up is by hand.
With any vertical cold press juicer, the most challenging part of washing would be the juicing screen. It’s the component that separates the juice from the pulp, which also traps the fibers. That’s when the complimentary brush will come in handy.
The hardest part of cleaning the Shine Juicer is taking it apart. The easiest way to do this is by doing the opposite of assembly and working from the top down. The last thing you assemble is the first thing you take off. Start by removing the feeder, then the top, and remove the rest from the base.
Pro Tip:
To prevent residue build-up, wash your juicer right away after every use.
