5 Ninja Bullet Blenders (2023) The Best Single-Serve Nutri Ninjas for making Shakes & Smoothies

To begin with, the Ninja Bullet is not a thing. It’s a pseudo product born out of consumer’s confusion over two different brands—Nutri Ninja and Nutribullet.

Given that both products are personal blenders and have “Nutri” in their names, it’s obvious where the mix-up arises. Don’t worry; you are not alone. Around 30K people search for a ninja bullet blender every month.

To address this issue, I came up with an idea to rank the best small blenders from each competing brand.

Without further adieu, here are the best Nutri Ninja and Nutri Bullet single-serve blenders for making protein shakes and green smoothies.

Nutri Bullet vs. Nutri Ninja

To better understand the difference between the two product lines, you can refer to this comparison table.

ShapeGeometricalOval-shaped
Can make hot soups?N/AYes
This table compares Nutri Ninja and Nutribullet blenders in general by brand, capacity, shape, and the capability to make hot soups.

First, we have to address that the companies behind each brand are entirely different entities. SharkNinja owns Nutri Ninja, while Nutribullet, LLC is the operating company that sells Nutri Bullets.

One hallmark of a NutriBullet blender is its capsule-like profile. It has a distinctive oval shape. So, if it’s shaped like a bullet, it’s a NutriBullet.

Nutri Ninjas, on the other hand, have an edgy, geometrical design. The old models look like a Tesla Cybertruck, and the newest Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo has a reverse conical figure, more like a pyramid.

Which one is better then?

If we’re going to look back at our top 5 Ninja Bullet mini blenders, you’ll see who the winner is, but it really depends on your preference.

Should you need a personal blender that doubles as a soup maker, it’s something that Nutribullet Rx can offer. Or if you want thicker blends for smoothie bowls, that’s a unique feature of the Ninja Smoothie Maker.

Let’s pit the NutriBullet and Nutri ninja against each other to get to the bottom of it.

Design — I’m not sure if you’ll agree with me, but I think NutriBullet blenders are cuter than Nutri Ninjas. NutriBullets look more minimalist and modern, while Nutri Ninja’s looks rugged but has a Star Trek appeal.

Container Capacity — Both brands have a wide range of jar sizes. NutriBullet containers can go as small as 10oz up to 32oz. Nutri Ninja’s smallest cup size is 16 oz, and it can go big as 32 ounces as well.

Durability — Nutri Ninjas look sturdier, but they both have the same short warranty period. So I guess it’s also a tie in this category.

Blend Quality – Nutribullet is the original single-serve blender, and they excel at this department remarkably, but not until the Ninja SS101.

Convenience – If we take the original Nutri Blender out of the equation, this round will go to Nutri Ninjas because of the Auto-IQ settings or its walk-away blending programs. You can also get this feature with some of the Nutri Bullets, but it’s not as straightforward.

Price – You can get a Magic Bullet for under $50, and it’s even cheaper if you’ll opt for the Magic Bullet Mini. That’s a bargain in comparison to the Nutri Ninja Pro. NutriBullet is the clear winner in this class.

If you tracked the points from both camps, it’s 6/6.

As a tie-breaker, we’ll have to look at both company’s flagship products—the Nutri Bullet Pro 1000 and the Ninja Smoothie Bowl Maker.

Cue the drum roll…

On any given day, Ninja Smoothie Blender will win this duel as it’s currently the best personal smoothie maker in the market. I won’t go into details as you’ll learn more about it in the review section.

Here you go.

Top 5 Ninja Bullet Blenders

#1 Ninja SS101 Foodi Power Nutri Duo

Best Ninja Bullet: Ninja Foodi Power Nutri Duo

The Power Nutri Duo or simply the Ninja SS101 can make two types of smoothies—one that everybody’s familiar with and a trendier thicker blend.

It’s the only Nutri blender capable of making smoothie bowls.

Apart from that unique quirk, it also comes with hassle-free blending cycles, four to be exact. Those preset programs will surely take the guesswork out of your smoothie-making habit.

Well, expect nothing less from Ninja’s newest flagship personal blender.

On a side note, you’ll get three complimentary cups with it—a pair of 24-ounce regular cups and a 14oz container with a rotary spatula.

#2 NEW Nutri Ninja Pro (BN401) with Auto-iQ

Nutri Ninja Auto-iQ Blender, model bn401

The Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro is the youngest in the Nutri Series, and yet, it’s already one of the best ninja bullet blenders. One reason is its up-to-date aesthetics just like the Power Nutri Duo.

The other, and apparent reason is its functionality. It has two automatic presets—smoothie and crush—which makes it a lot easier (and fun) to use.

If you choose this Ninja blender, you’ll get two 24 oz cups. It can make a higher amount of single-serve smoothies, that’s also good enough for sharing.

#3 Nutribullet Pro 1000

Nutribullet Pro 1000

NutriBullet Pro 1000 is the most up to date version of the brand’s pro series single-serve blenders. It comes with two higher-capacity containers—32oz and 24oz cups—perfect for sharing with your significant other.

It’s currently the best Nutribullet blender due to several useful upgrades. Aside from the cosmetic makeover, it welcomed an ergonomically designed easy-twist extractor blade.

On top of that, the cup has also been overhauled. Before, you need to attach a lip ring to cover the ridges of the cup, to sip your drink more comfortably. Thankfully, the Nutribullet Pro 1000 doesn’t have that issue anymore.

#4 Nutri Ninja Pro

Nutri Ninja Pro

If you like a straightforward Ninja bullet blender, you might want to check the classic Nutri Ninja Pro. Just like the product before it, it has no automatic blending cycles.

To make a smoothie, you need to push the container/blade assembly onto the machine’s base until you reach your desired consistency.

The great thing about it is, it comes with three cup sizes—12oz, 18oz, and 24oz. You have plenty of container options for your protein shake or green smoothie.

#5 Magic Bullet

Magic Bullet

Last but not least, we have the Magic Bullet. It’s the smallest mini blender there is. Well, that’s pretty much redundant, but it’s true. It comes with a 12-ounce short cup, a bigger 18oz, and a 22oz mug-style jar (with a handle).

Aside from being the cutest in this class, it’s also the cheapest. You can purchase three Magic Bullets for the price of our #1 Nutri blender. You’ll end up with some spare cash to buy a week’s worth of produce.

Now, that’s savvy.

There you have it, our Top 5 Ninja Bullet or Nutri Ninjas or NutriBullets, however you may want to call it.

Verdict

Personal blenders are highly compact, yet it’s as versatile as full-sized counterpart. On top of making smoothies, it can also help you with basic food processing tasks such as making sauces and dips, pureeing, and there’s one model that can even make hot soups.
