There’s a new Nutribullet Pro in town, the Nutribullet Pro 1000. It’s almost at the same price point as the older model, but it comes with a few significant improvements.
The motor gained a 100-watt increase. It doesn’t look much, but a 10% increment in power is quite significant since we’re talking about personal type blenders.
One major issue about older Nutribullet blenders is the blade assembly. Some consumers are having a hard time loosening it from the cup due to its plain surface. Thankfully, they are now adopting an easy-twist design.
In addition to the updated extractor blades, the cups have also been refreshed. They moved the thread inside the container, making it more comfortable to drink, with or without the lid.
It’s also worth noting that it’s part of the Next Generation products from the brand. I bet this will succeed the older Nutribullet Pro Series moving forward.

Nutribullet Pro 1000 Series Features
What can you make with Nutribullet Pro?
The Nutribullet Pro 1000-Watt Blender is a fantastic smoothie maker. You can expect a better blend quality with this new machine. In addition to making refreshingly healthy drinks, it can also help you with various food processing tasks.
Here are some possible use cases with this 1000-watt blender.
Considering that you’ll have a bigger container, you can be generous with the number of servings you are making.
Things to remember:
The NutriBullet Pro 1000 Series is not designed to process thicker blends. When you’re making ice cream with it, you need enough amount of liquid. Otherwise, you’ll have a hard time mixing your ingredients.
If you need a personal blender that can take a thicker mixture, read my review of the Ninja Smoothie Maker.
You also need to keep in mind that the containers of this personal blender are not vented, making them incompatible with hot ingredients. Heat may lead to pressure build-up, and it may cause unnecessary injury.
If you need something that can also make hot soups, you might want to consider getting the Nutribullet Rx Blender.
Is it easy to use?
There’s no doubt that the Nutri Bullet Pro is exceptionally straightforward to use, including this 1000-watt version. It’s as simple as push, twist and blend. There are no switches or settings that you need to work with.
But, it isn’t perfect. In fact, one major frustration consumers have over older models is the bare surface of the blade assembly. It’s difficult to grip and detach from the cup.
Well, thankfully, that issue has been addressed in the Nutribullet Pro 1000 Series. As you can see from the product photo, there’s a bit of a wave pattern with the new easy-twist extractor blade. Assembly and disassembly is now a piece of cake.
Aside from that, you’ll also notice the absence of lip rings. Before, you’ll need one if you want to cover up those uncomfortable threads when sipping your drink. In this new version, the threads were moved inside the container.
Those are significant ergonomic upgrades, in my opinion. Usability wise, I’ll give this product 4/5.
In terms of maintenance, all the detachable parts (except the blade base) are dishwasher safe.
