The Nutribullet Select is part of the brand’s next-generation blenders with a more refined look and a more ergonomic blade base.
It’s the successor of the Nutribullet Rx, the company’s very first high-power blender with a soup-making feature. I just have to note that it doesn’t have as much power as its older sibling. To give you a rough idea, the Nutribullet Select only offers a 1.4 HP motor vs. Rx’s 2.3 HP motor.
So, I’m not quite sure if it can heat soup up through friction heat. Anyway, I’ll update this review once I have the info.
Other than that, it’s an excellent compact blender that’s big in features. Since it can make up to four smoothie servings, it gives large capacity countertop blenders a run for their money.
Now, let’s check its pros and cons.

Nutribullet Select 1000 Watt Blender Features
What can you make with Nutribullet Select?
In terms of functionality, the Nutribullet Select Blender is identical to the Nutribullet Rx. It’s a fantastic companion for making soups and shakes.
It’s pretty safe to assume that it can also do all of these:
* I’m still trying to verify if it can also heat the soup up through friction heat like the Nutribullet Rx. The thing is, it doesn’t have a soup-blaster mode, and the motor is 40% weaker. I would guess that you can only use it to puree your mixture, but you still need a separate pot to heat it up.
That also goes for the nut butter making ability.
I’ll update this review once the product manual becomes available.
Is Nutribullet Select Blender easy to use?
What I like about the NutriBullet Select is the updated control panel. It’s more simplistic and straightforward to operate. You got two speed levels, a pulse button, an “extract mode” for the single-serve cups, and an on/off switch.
If you’re used to the twist and push mechanism, you’ll love these physical buttons even more. Even without reading the product manual, I’m quite sure you’ll get it working right away.
The blade assembly is by far the biggest update on this product. It now features the new easy-twist extractor blade. It’s more ergonomic than the previous one.
When it comes to maintenance, the blade assembly is the only part you need to wash manually. The soup pitcher and the 24-oz cup are dishwasher safe.
All in all, it’s a 4/5 in terms of convenience, credit goes to the upgraded blade base.
See it in action:
Don’t take my word for it, here’s a quick product video demo from the brand.
The Nutribullet Select is a personal blender with a soup-making capability. It comes with a vented 32-oz (946 ml) container that can take on hot items. Featuring a 1000-watt motor, the Nutribullet Select is a powerful blending machine with multiple capabilities. It’s a fantastic tool for making smoothies, soups, nut butter, sauces and dips, etc.
NutriBullet Select Accessories
When you buy Nutri Bullet Select Blender, it already comes with the 32-ounce pitcher and a 24-ounce handled cup. That would be good enough for three to four servings of smoothies or hot soup.
Should you need additional cups, or perhaps you’re looking for a replacement part for your worn-out blade assembly, you can refer to this list.
Pro tip:
When you’re filling up any of these containers, always make sure you’re not going over the maximum level. And always add liquid in all your recipes. It will be easier on your machine, plus it will make your blend texture more consistent.
