To be honest, I really like this product. It’s cheap, it’s beautiful, and at the same time, highly functional. Aside from its elegant aesthetics, it also offers not one but four convenient pre-programmed settings.

You can make smoothies, purees, soups, and frozen drinks with a simple touch. I’m not sure if we can categorize it as a smart blender, but it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to geeky features.

For now, let’s go over its advantages and disadvantages.

What can you make with Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender?

With a monstrous 1500-watt motor, it’s in the same league as any household blender by Vitamix and Blendtec. I can’t confirm the peak horsepower rating, but the Nutribullet Smart Touch blender is indeed a high-powered machine.

With that said, it’s capable of the following.

The 64-ounce (1.89L) is vented, which means it can take on hot items like soup. Please note that it won’t heat puree on its own as a cooking blender does. You need to warm your ingredients first in a separate pot.

By the way, never use the smaller cups for processing hot food. It’s best suited for smoothies, milkshakes, and other cold or room temperature recipes. Blending hot ingredients with a closed container is an accident waiting to happen. That’s true to all compact blenders.

There are a few things the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo can’t do. It doesn’t have an accessory for milling flour and kneading dough. However, those capabilities aren’t essential. It’s more of an extra feature you’ll find from either Vitamix blenders or Blendtec machines.

Bonus: It comes with a recipe book (20 recipes), from Smoothies, smoothie bowls, soups, dips and sauces, cocktails, and “odds n ends.”

Is Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender easy to use?

One major difference the Smart Touch Blender has over the Nutribullet Blender Combo is the touch controls. On top of that, it now features trendier quick-blend settings.

There’s a shortcut for making purees, soups, frozen drinks, and smoothies. With their older model, there’s just a button for “extract”, which doesn’t make a lot of sense. Now, it’s more descriptive.

With just a press of a button, you can make your favorite smoothie, soup, or any recipe in particular.

Should you decide to blend things your way, you can also control it manually. There are three-speed buttons, and there’s also a pulse switch at your disposal.

In addition, it also features the newer ergonomic twister blade for its single-serve cups. It’s easier to assemble and disassemble, plus it’s more comfortable to drink from.

Cleaning is also simple. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe (except for the twister blade). The large container and the cups can all go straight to your dishwasher.

All in all, the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender is pretty much straightforward to operate and maintain.

Smart Touch Blender Technology

Let’s get back to Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo’s four intelligent presets for making purees, soups, frozen drinks, and smoothies. I just have to add that the digital timer will indicate the remaining time for each setting.

Apart from those walk-away blending programs, it also has an underlying technology that detects if a pitcher or lid is locked in place. If it’s not, the control panel won’t illuminate, nor will you be able to start the motor.

That’s a nice safety feature since we’re dealing with a 1500-watt machine.

Accessories

The combo package includes a standard 64-ounce pitcher, two personal cups, and an easy-twist extractor blade. There’s also an optional 56-ounce container, in case you need an extra one.
